Hands down, can't miss. Don't visit the city without stopping here. Don't be shy to try something out of the ordinary. English menus, leave your interpreter at home.

The duck was very crispy and fat, done in traditional way. 2 of us had half duck and it was enough because it was fat and oily. However, we ordered another dish (shrimp with cabbage) and it was not good and expensive compared with other restaurants. The bones of the duck were taken away to make the "soup" but it... More

I lived in China for three years so one of my favorite meals was Peking Duck in Beijing. So when visiting China again 14 years later, I had to have my favorite especially on learning that Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant had a location in Qingdao. At first we wanted to eat here for lunch but our sightseeing didn't allow us... More

This restaurant is close to the 5.4 square This restaurant is costly compared to other restaurants in Qingdao. But it is a great opportunity to experience Chinese north food. chef gives you roast duct cut. In addition to the main menu, you should pay off even a little food money. Ah. . .Every employees can't speak English at all.

After trying to sit at 4 or 5 tables we decided to do the best we could to clean a table and 2 chairs. All the seat covers were stained with fresh food and there was glass over a tablecloth. Where the cloth draped down it too was soaked in fresh food stains. The servers seemed put out that we... More

This is a great choice if you like to eat duck! The presentation is well done. Get there early as they close at 8:30. All the tables were taken by the time we left at 7 pm.

It is a branch of Beijing Quanjude, locates opposite to Qingdao Municipal City Hall, at the May Fourth Square. The food is typical Beijing Royal Cuisine, well roasted duck, looks golden and delicious. The service is nice too. There is a stage for traditional Chinese opera show.

The experience of the duck being cut at your table by a highly skilled cook is still something special but the taste is nowhere near that of real

A great place to be introduced to Beijing Duck. After stepping into the lobby, I was sent via elevator to the third floor. As the doors opened, I stepped into a big noisy room and was escorted to my table. Don't expect english speaking personnel. But the menu is in english as well. We ordered one duck, plus two dishes...
