Please go to this place, it is the best seafood I've had in a long time AND it's not expensive at all! Every dish was succulent, i made sure I tried my firend's food. The fish is fresh and their soups are delicious. The only...More

We had dinner here with our kids. The menu is short, but has something for everyone. The waitress was friendly and answered a few questions for us. Overall it was a nice meal. Can recommend this place. They take cash only.

Recommended by a local. She said it was a must, and I couldn't agree more. The only thing better than the food was the staff. Cordial, accommodating, and particularly attentive to your enjoyment.

Colourful, authentic, cosy restaurant. Great decor (South America meets Caribbean), loved the vibe. Excellent food and reasonably priced. Food was the best meal i had while in Cartagena and it wasn't crazy expensive. In fact it compared as considerably cheaper for what was much nicer...More

Had 2 dinners at the Mulato. Both were excellent! Taste was great as was the presentation. Service also wonderful.

This is a small but cosy place - clearly popular with locals as well as tourists, as can be seen from the small group of people waiting to get in at lunchtime (though it turns round very fast). They bring a complementary soup at the...More

As a starter you get a very tasty fish soup as a courtesy. Plates are big, enough for 2 women. Warm service. Many fish options. Good value for money and charming decoration.

Had to wait 30 minutes because there was a cruise ship that had landed and about 30 or 40 frogs were in there eating lunch! They would walk out, take a cigarette break and then walk back in which caused the 30 minute wait! The...More

One of the typical dishes in Cartagena is a fried fish (usually mojarra or pargo) with coconut rice and patacones (fried green plantains). This place had an awesome version of it, with crispy and well seasoned fish and awesome sides! Would visit again! Also, well...More

I have images of the menu (Jan 2017) and I'll post them if I can figure out how. Entrees run in the 20.000-30.000 range, eg less than $10 US. I guess you could spend as much as USD 40 with additional items for two.
