A bit overpriced like pretty much everything in Dili. They should serve more Asian dishes which was pretty good instead of the lousy western food.

We have been to Castaway several times, we haven't had food but drinks only. The cocktails are just fabulous, the bartender is really passionate by his job and you can feel it in your mouth. He even tattooed the word "cocktail"on his arm. It means everything. Plus they have their cocktail of the month for 5 box each month. (In... More

Came here for a sundowner and dinner on an average Tues night and was incredibly pleased. The open air restaurant has the chill ambiance, Western comforts and quirky charm to be expected from a place over a dive shop. I had the three bean Mexican veggie burger and it exceeded my expectations! It was huge and packed with flavor- salsa,... More

It overlooks the sea and serves good salads and pizzas. One night a week there is a live band and plenty of life. Friendly owner, good times and just a fine place. Dive Timor Loro'sae is underneath so you can dive in the daytime and finish up with pizza, beer and boasting when you get back.

Best place to have a cold beer served in a stubby cooler. A must in the tropics. Good food. Good service and good prices. Looks out over the bay so cool breezes help.

Popped in on the way back to our hotel late one night. Lovely location opposite the beach. Great cocktails and super friendly staff who also gave us bowls some type of chips. And they were happy to organise taxis for us to get back to hotel

An expat hideaway, this place has all manner of comfort food on offer and even a few treats from the old colonials. Close to the beach, Castaway Bar is a relaxing spot to sip a Portuguese brew and watch the sun go down.

Whilst staying with Dive Timor Lorosae, this is the default restaurant, but it is a beauty. The food and drinks here will suit most appetites and the staff are friendly and attentive. The view from the balcony overlooking Dili Harbour out to Arturo Island is delightful. Cool breezes, good food, cold beer; there is nothing better after a great day... More

Castaway Bar is located upstairs from the Dive Timor Lorosae dive shop, on Avenida Portal, facing the sea. Food is mostly Western fare - great pizzas and good burgers. Beers are 3 $. It's generally not necessarily cheap, but a great place to hang out and mingle. Parking spots for scooters and cars are available on the other side of... More

Generally good/reliable food. Over past couple of months, upgrade of food presentation and quality. Serves both lunch & dinner in water front location. Constant traffic noise in this location but on nice day, good outlook with sea breeze. Good selection of food, range of fresh juices, coffee. Expect US$8-$12 on average for meals so little dearer than some other locations... More
