We stopped by after dinner out elsewhere in town to grab something to bring back to the hotel. We had the hot fudge sundae and sand box, both delicious! The amount of toppings perfect and not overpowering to the custard. Staff was very friendly and it's always fun to order from a walk up window nowadays. We would definitely return... More

I was excited to get some frozen custard, but somewhat disappointed here. The custard tasted more like regular soft serve ice cream (not as vanilla-y as I remembered), and the portion was pretty small for the price. A sign said their specialty was Chile Frozen Custard, but neither of us had the nerve to try it. They have some very... More

We were bummed to learn there was no Dairy Queen in Alamogordo when we moved to town, but quickly learned that Caliche's is way better than DQ! We love trying all the different combinations in the desserts! So good!

Nothing beats Caliche Frozen custard. It's our fav. Even better than NY's Mr.Softie.My husband always get the strawberry cheesecake and I get the brownies. Always a treat.Caliche frozen yogurt is happiness.Every time we have relatives visiting us for the first time we always let them try Caliche....never a disappointment.

I had the Hawaiian which had coconut, pineapple, & banana. Husband had the Oreo with Gummy Beat on top. Both were delicious. Very Creamy. The Perfect Place to satisfied a Sweet Tooth.

We were in the area visiting White Sands and decided to stop at this location for a treat. My husband had a cup of custard and I decided on the waffle cone vanilla custard. Both of us like custard but did not enjoy the custard here as much as other locations. One of the biggest problems to me is that... More

It's addictive. My only wish is that they had a real espresso machine instead of coffee flavored concentrate.

I first laughed when I looked at "restaurants in Alamogordo" and this place was #1?? an ice cream type place? NOW we know why, it is THE MOST delicious frozen type of desert, ever! I have never had frozen custard before.. the creamiest cream cheese, hand cream, whatever you can think of is not as smooth as this frozen custard,... More

Love the frozen custard. Great summertime treat, and they always have creative flavors. Each desert runs $3-$5 so for a large family you can spend a lot, but it's soooo worth it.

Went for their Hot dog special. Two Hot dogs and a drink for $5.55. My son and I shared. It was yummy. My son bought a small sundae with his money. They were busy but very polite.
