Very tasty lunch dishes, cooked to order. Pleasant service, interesting street views. Easy to find, on main street down to Chinese fishing boats, just past bus station.

We just had a wonderful lunch at the Cafe. The chef went with us to the nearby fish market, we selected the fish, Shafique got a good price and off we went to the street kitchen. Great finish of a wonderful holiday in Kerala.

We found the food to be OK only. Fish was better than chicken preparation. They overcharged for water (Rs. 30 instead of Rs. 20). When I complained that govt. has strictly given orders not to charge above MRP, they didn't agree and told me that it is a govt. property only and the prices are fixed by govt.

We had gone to see the chinese fishing nets . Nearby was a fish shop where we bought a big carpel fish because a boy standing there told us that he could cook it for us in his restaurant. We followed him across the playground to the roadside eatery called Kerala cafe. The feeling of sitting on the pavement table... More

After a rather tiresome tour around Fort Kochi, we asked some locals where we could get good seafood, and we were pointed to this place. Okay, there seemed to be quite a few people there. The sitting is under some kind of awning / shed. We ordered some fried prawn / shrimps, fried fish and fish curry. The food was... More

The restaurant is located on the roadside, and we had dinner once here. Food: The fish curry was excellent, smelling fresh coconut oil and great taste. The quantity and quality was really great. The dosa was overwhelmed with baking soda and had yellow coloring over it. Staff/service: bad Cleanliness: bad Bad things: 1) The hand-wash area smells of some bad... More
