They provide authentic rajasthani food, we went first for the daal-baati-churma thali and we liked it so much that we went again the next day for just daal-chawal. Service is as good as there food and they accepted paytm happily whcih was icing on the cake. Ask any local in Udaipur and they'll send you to Santosh for authentic Daal-Baati.

This was my second visit to Udaipur and I did not want to miss a quick bite of authentic Rajasthani food! Went straight from the airport to have Dal-Vaati-Choorma, it is really delicious! A must eat for those who love to have local food.

Tried the Rajasthani thali here and boy was it delicious and filling! The Dal Bati Churma was decadent but the winner for me was the traditional Rajasthani mixed dal!

When you will be at Udaipur for a vacation, please plan a lunch at this place for traditional Rajasthan cuisine, Dal Baati and Churma. Nice location, nice place to sit out and perfect taste.

Having heard great reviews about the place, we expected the daal baati to be traditional Rajasthani style. Food was average. Utensils and dishes not so clean. The baati was served cold. And the daal was also not great. Have definitely eaten daal baati at better places.

Plus: 1. Economic: A Dal Bati thali with unlimited servings costs you Rs 150. No Kidding! I love loading my plate with a lot of ghee over my baati, the flow never stopped :) 2. Family friendly/Child Check: I have a two year old, they let me share my thali with my kid. The place is clean and air conditioned,... More
