We came to have dinner early at 19.00 hs. Our food came to the table at 21, all dishes came separate. Chapati never appeared. Food was nothing incredible. Hope to have better luck next time.

A delight for travelers: excellent bread and a large intern. Menu. Great portions, clean food preperations, nice service, convenient location. Affordable Traveler prices. Relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle.

The drinks and cake we ordered were great. The huge cheese selection and diverse bench looked good although we didn't try any of it. Lots of the bakery products are made by a local charity aiming to empower women which is amazing. Nice atmosphere although they played a reaaaally repetitive chanting song for the whole time we were in there... More

After viewing an extensive menu, we decided to eat here. Overall, the service was quite good and friendly, but the food and drinks took quite some time to get to us and the burgers could have tasted better. A friend's curry, however, was quite tasty.

So awesome; buy a tea and score some delicious homemade fresh bread to go with it! Fantastic sitting area up the top on the rooftop and beautifully sheltered and protected from monkeys too. The setup of this place is great! Great food - amazing salads (rare in India!), bruschetta, tea, coffee and other dishes are fantastic. Their loaves of bread... More

We spent a couple of hours sitting in the roof top section eating lots of lovely knobbly things, drinking tea, coffee and fruit juices while watching the neighbourhood monkeys coming and going as well as the kids flying their kites on the roof tops. Profits go to supporting school for poor kiddies, the food is organic as much as it... More

This place is very hyped up and has a massive reputation that I don't think it can ever hope to live up to. There are numerous positives. The bread is phenomenal. They offer a complimentary bread basket to all guests, full of slices of freshly baked bread. They do a wonderful cinnamon roll which is, albeit not like the French,... More

We come for breakfast there, the place is not big, and was not very clean ( relatively clean to according to Indian realities though), overall menu is very wide, but we ordered omelette and nasal tea. The food and drink were tasty, but nothing really special.

Went here on the recommendation of someone and found the food for breakfast bland no salt or pepper in the omelet and it took a really long time to get the food as well as they forgot half the order

Brown Bread Bakery and Organic Food P.Ltd is the very first organic bakery with restaurant in India with branches in Varanasi and Delhi. Since 2015 we started also a Vegan restaurant Varanasi. The company supports the projects of Learn for Life by using the profits for funding the school and to provide fair working conditions for all the staff. We use as many organic ingredients as possible for our products. All our bakery items are made from different kinds of organic grains which are always grinded freshly. The grains, the rice and the lentils are produced by certified small farmers which we visit and check regularly.
