Ate here twice in two days and the food was consistently amazing. The best Japanese I've ever eaten! My picks are the gyoza, the cheese age/wonton (something different), the karage don and the teriyaki chicken sushi roll (very elegantly presented). The prices are good and the service is good, some staff even speak japanese!

Great meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Make sure you go inside for the full Japanese dining experience. Could eat here every day of the week

I have been to Kokoya numerous times and it has never disappointed me. The food is always fresh and service is fast. The staff are very friendly. The small tables with cushions gives and authentic feel to the restaurant adding to the positive experience. I believe this place is suited for all people who visit such as families, couples are... Decided to try this place again after quite a stretch of time of not visiting this place. We ordered Agedashi Tofu, Wakame Salad, Momo, Tebasaki, Ebi, Butabara, Negi, Seafood Set and specially ordered Beef Udon (since they don't really serve beef). My five-year old found it difficult to chew the beef--very tough. The seaweed of our Wakame Salad was not... More

Nice Japanese style restaurant with tatami alcoves on one side and counter seating on the other, as well as some outdoor seating. Pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff. It has an extensive menu of Japanese dishes. I had curry with tonkatsu. Good, not exceptional. Reasonable prices.

Unfortunately for us, Kokoya is definitely not a secret. It is filled with people every night and they deserve it! They have the best hot green tea that I had EVER (haven't been to Japan yet, but I think it can't get any better ;)) and their meals are fairly priced, the portions are enough and it always tasted great!... So many places to eat in Sanur! I saw a sign for a bento box and it was 35.000 IDR! Thought I'd try it nothing to loose... Amazing! I'll be dropping by regularly for their spectacular food! Great green tea too! Must try if your in Sanur.

This place is located near sanur beach. Cozy place and nice for having meals. It's taste of sushi really original. Recommended for sushi lover. The price is not too expensive (good for mid-range budgeter).

Big thumbs up to this place! The foods are amazing! sushi were great, not bland at all and the price is reasonable too. The place is not so big but really cozy and has a good atmosphere. This is a great place for dinner, but if you come here at lunch, they have lunch bento that fairly cheap plus you... More

Sushi was absolutely amazing, so was the gyoza. We just could not stop eating, it was all so delicious. This is a must go to place if you ever visit Bali!
