I ate here three times while in Ubud, and loved it each time. Extremely reasonable prices, with great selection of dishes from different islands. I ate things here I never saw at other restaurants, and everything is great. I especially loved the batutu (Balinese chicken stew)!

Love the ambience of the place. We came here as it seemed highly-recommended by other travellers and we were not disappointed. I was expecting the food to be just alright, as long as it was halal for us, but was blown away by the taste! Very flavourful, everything on the dish went very well together, and I was very happy... Happened upon this place after asking at the Ganesha bookshop (and buying books to donate to local orphanages, do this if you can). This was a great spot for local and regional dishes as well as vegetarian options. We sat upstairs where you can see the cooking underway. It felt like going to an aunties for lunch with a price... I started coming to this restaurant six years ago and after today I shall not be returning. The poor service started when three of us entered and sat at a table. No menus were brought over so we found them ourselves. Finally when a waitress came over to take the orders I asked for my nasi campur to have extra... More

This is a good place to catch a bite when your not being picky and just want local fare. Service isnt bad or good, in fact higher standard than many similar places. I dont find the food exceptional but its good value for what you get.

When we saw the menu, we couldn't believe how cheap the place is! The menu is also very extensive, with dishes sorted by province. Loved the corn fritters and the Hot & Sweet chicken with veggies! Awesome value for money. The service is very functional and could be a little warmer. The other thing they could add on is wifi!... More

Traditional Indonesian food at really great prices (mains were around $3 - $3.50 AUD). We got 2 main meals, a coke, a fresh pressed juice and 2 massive slices of chocolate mousse cake for 128000 IDR - bargain!! The meals were super tasty - curry had a nice kick to it with lots of fresh veggies and accompaniments. So yum.... More

Tried the ikan cuka, soto ayam, cucumber and lime slow juice and the chocolate mousse cake. Chocolate mousse cake "thumbs up"...the others are ok...its a bit bland to my liking.

This place has traditional food from many islands including bali...very good prices, quality, and flavour, and red rice available. The betutu chicken is nice and very well priced $3 including tea. The meals aren't huge as they are traditional, but so much better than cafe, bali buddha, clear cafe, and local food...it's actually quite hard to find authentic food here....

After spending about 3 weeks in Bali, I can say that this place had some of the best quality and most unique food I had on my whole trip. Once I discovered it I went back several times throughout my stay in Ubud. The food is pretty affordable for the quality, and awesome that they serve tea included in the... More
