this restaurant famous for its crispy duck,so last year November when i had a chance staying in south ubud,i decided to have crispy duck here. it served with rice, peanuts, water spinach and three kind of sambal.i ordered avocado juice also.i love its sambal,it it the must!duck is crispy and delicious, not very dried.i dined on the bale which was a very nice experience.the staffs were polite and helpful.there are dance performance held at this restaurant at night, different dance each night, you can ask info at the counter.the restaurant has a garden, the palce is big. Laka Leke means hideaway, its location just between monkey forest and nyuh kuning village, it is not hard to find the place.

Located just a few steps from the Monkey Forest, Laka Leke provides guests with a beautiful setting to enjoy a delicious meal. I highly recommend their crispy duck. You should come early for dinner to enjoy the sunset, then stick around for one of their cultural dances which start at 8 p.m.

To this day, Laka Leke's crispy duck is the best duck dish I've ever eaten in my whole life. The sambal was AMAZING Most people will like the place as it is outdoor with summer breeze. However I'm not a fan of heat, but it's worth for the duck! Pretty far from Kuta, but will defo come back!

We were bumped into this excellent restaurant when we got lost in our way to Ubud in December last year. At that time, we were trying to avoid traffic jam in Ubud on our way to Monkey Forest. We used our GPS to find the fastest way to Monkey Forest and we were not aware there were at least more than one entrance. When we arrived in Monkey Forest, we were shocked to find that we were guided to the back entrance (as supposed to the main entrance). We decided to cancel our trip to Monkey Forest that afternoon since there were so many tourists inside the forest. After turning around our car and I was almost left the Monkey Forest area (approx. 100 metres from the entrance), we saw a balinese style restaurant called Laka Leke. I decided to stop a while and looked for some reviews on this particular establishment as we felt hungry by that time. After finished reading some reviews, I decided to have our lunch in Laka Leke. We all were glad we did this since their food quality was obviously fall above average. The restaurant was not really busy by the time we reached there as it was already past lunch time. They have many different seating area and we chose to sit in a big table (5 of us). We ordered different dishes including their famous fried duck. They started serving all our orders within 20 minutes. All of food we ordered were delicious (taste better than I originally expected). Although the food was not cheap (on average) but it was really worth every penny. For this reason, I would give them a 4 stars rating and I would strongly recommend this particular restaurant to everyone who is looking for quality restaurant in their next trips to Bali.

Avoid at all costs. Although the community they live in bands trash burning and offers routine trash pickup they burn all their trash on the street once the restaurant closes. They also make fires to burn your trash and refuse in the rice fields they own and back. I live on the other side of the rice field and it makes the air toxic. They also use heavy amounts of pesticides on their rice fields which go right up to where the restaurant these people. Do not eat here unless you want pesticide residue in your food and while you eat

Laka Leke restaurant is having a good advantage located in monkey forest ubud. The restaurant is easy to find and be careful with surrounding monkeys outside restaurants. The place is big and semi-outdoor, and there is a back view of rice fields. The staffs are friendly and helpful. the service is quiet fast. The best food served in Laka Leke restaurant is...the crispy duck! From my personal opinion, it's the best crispy duck ever in indonesia. It's so dry on the skin, crunchy and the sambal matah is sooo goood. Over all, Laka Leke restaurant is a good place to eat with family, friends or business colleagues. Selamat makan!

If you're not looking for it, you can easily pass this place. I happened to be walking by and the entrance caught my eye and I am so glad it did. I was welcomed inside with smiles from the staff and offered any spot I could find. I chose a place where I could sit on the floor. I did not know that this restaurant was famous for its crispy duck or I would have tried it. Instead, I went with Bakmi Goreng (33K) and a Hot LGH (24K) which is actually a cold, refreshing drink. My meal as a whole was delicious and a great price. I believe they also have dancing performances that you can get tickets to, so if you're staying in the area or know you will be traveling through, I would say it would be a great spot to enjoy some tasty food and traditional Balinese entertainment.

i had crispy duck here in 2019,this year when border reopened,i came here for crispy duck again.but this time i came with my local friends,a coupke with their son.this time we ordered three crispy ducks, one sate chicken, one nuggets,my friends ordered orange juice and me mango juice.we agreed that crispy duck here more better than other place.portion quite big, meat not skinny.for me i think their sambal less spicy. because pandemic, there is no dancing performance that night.dining atmosphere at laka leke restaurant is fine,we sat at Bale, very relaxed.there are many places here can take pics. even their toilet also decorative, haha! they take card with no extra charges which is good! they have smoked duck too, but very regret,i didnt book in advanced,so cannot taste it! will try it next time.

The view and ambiance are always good in Laka Leke. The crispy duck's taste is always consistent and wonderful. We never skip this restaurant every time we go to Bali and we only go to Ubud to eat here. Always a pleasure.

Great place to enjoy local cuisine. The restaurant has aesthetically done up decor. The place is spread out over a large area with plenty of open space. Good for couples or big groups.

Exceptional food quality for a very good price. Nice atmosphere with a wide, open area. Offering different seating options in several open houses across the compound. Complementary dance show on a central stage and attentive waiters. Famous for its duck dishes!

The vibe in Bali makes it really hard to write a bad review, unless it is really bad. But not the case here. We Even came twice to eat here. Very good appetizers, good desert, good service. The tuna salad was not the best. We also came in one night when they had a traditional Bali dance… very nice. Very well located just outside the Monkey Forest after visiting.

The food and service are excellent. The setting is amazing. We were looking for food with variety and a delicious cocktail. We found both. Extensive menu of both Indonesian, Asian and European food.
