Duck in banana leaves was amazing. The prices are really cheap for what you get. Great ambiance too. I wish I had more time in Ubud to eat here again.

I happened upon this Warung while walking and waiting for an evening dance performance. I was enjoying the duck during my visit to Bali, and ordered the smoked duck that was offered. It was the most delicious dinner I had on my 2 week trip to Bali. The portion was small, but filling.

Tucked up Jalan Kajeng (Rd by palace) this is a must do. I had fish (mackerel)... it came wrapped in a banana leaf with delish coconut rice and veges. It was outstanding... beautifully spiced and tender. The setting is just gorjus with beautiful art. A standout! My meal was more than enough and I so enjoyed it I had 2... More

I liked this place so much we went back a second time. The duck in banana leaves was fantastic, as was the avocado milkshake. Sitting under their awning and watching the rain fall was a highlight of Ubud.

I always love returning to this gorgeous and delicious little Warung whenever in Ubud. Family run by the loveliest Balinese family, you feel part of the clan as soon as you sit and start chatting to them, a beautiful setting too within the family compound with simple but sweet setting, lovely artworks by the family members, quiet and tranquil (feels... I have been to Ubud many times and this restaurant is just of the main roads in Jalan Kajeng. This road has some cheaper home stays, shops and warungs. Savannah Moon really stood out with its modern furniture, artwork and beautiful open space (but covered) outside setting. Prices here are on a similar level as the other warungs in the... More

Visited this place several times when in Ubud and loved it. Smoked duck in banana leaf was really good. One of the best beef satays I have eaten. Also love the interior. This place is way better and authentic than noisy main street restaurants. Cheaper too.

Nice place, very small portions! We were left hungry, the cooker refused to admit and asked for more money. Ridiculous.

Great for indonesian dishes with a twist: the savannah moon is a restaurant to come back to. The food is a lot better than in your average warung, and it tastes like eating at mom's, just that mom for once is indonesian. Go there, try it out!

-price: cheap, the main courses are lower than 50 kR. In line with expectations -quality: I really liked my food. I had ginger beef steak + chicken nuggets. The steak was very tasty, don't expect a big one though. Everything came with roasted potatoes (amazing). My sister had spicy fish and she was happy. Less happy with the salmon salad... More
