We had a lovely evening of tasty food, relaxing music and great atmosphere. They had run out of a lot of options on the menu but the ones we tried were tasty - highly recommend their satay sauce!

Returned to Bernadette's on this year's holiday, once for takeaway as husband sick, then when better we went there for dinner with a friend who had lived in Jakarta for decades. She was thrilled at the authentic Javanese dishes on the menu and thought the ones she ordered delicious. We all enjoyed our meals though my hushand and I were... More

The restaurant is beautiful, staff friendly, but that's it ! This is javanese food, not balinese food. Our taste is not javanese that's why we rate this disappointing because all the food was soupy, sloppy and tasteless, the ingredients was not of a good quality. All four plates was left on the table. Left back to our resort hungry.

We there for lunch. We just passed by and got attracted by the original decoration. This is a restaurant but also a shop were you can buy many original staff for decoration. We ordered the rendang, soto ayan, gafo gafo and satay. All of them was great very tasty and really home made, but specially the rendang was to die... More

Famous for it's rendang and surely doesn't disappoint. Beef rendang was good, Jackfruit rendang was to die for! I would recommend it even if you are not vegetarian. The kids ordered nasi goreng and ate as much as adults normally would...and that speaks volumes! We also had their lemongrass, cinnamon, ginger tea and that was a warming palate cleanser.

Fantastic food; Incredibly tasty and very friendly service. The Rendang is the best you will taste anywhere in Indonesia.

We walked past this restaurant a couple of times without even noticing it and in all honesty only ate here because of a recommendation from a friend who saw we were in Bali. They were so right! This isn't quite the cheapness of warung Dewa almost next door, but it wasn't much more expensive at all - very good prices... More

Average food and slow staff. Also the tax (15.5%) is the highest we have seen so for. We wont use the LP for our next restaurant, only TA :).

This is a cute, eclectically decorated waroeng in the heart of Ubud. I've been back several times now and love their Bakso, an Indonesian street food soup. It's a perfect place to watch motorbikes and tourists go by, or to find a quiet corner to yourself. Staff are always friendly and attentive. The second time I had their soup there... More

We read about this place in the lonely planet guide so thought we'd give it a go. Go! its great! if you are really lucky you'll even get a free taster of their amazing rendang whilst you peruse the menu from the street! we got one of the seats facing out over the street and it was lovely sitting there...
