This is a cute, eclectically decorated waroeng in the heart of Ubud. I've been back several times now and love their Bakso, an Indonesian street food soup. We read about this place in the lonely planet guide so thought we'd give it a go. Go! its great! if you are really lucky you'll even get a free taster of their amazing rendang whilst you peruse the menu from the street! we got one of the seats facing out over the street and it was lovely sitting there... If you want to try some authentic Indonesian dishes and you eat meat, come to Waroeng Bernadette. We chose this restaurant randomly since we could not find the one we wanted from TripAdvisor. It was a good choice because the food was tasty, well prepared and service was attentive and fast. This is a quaint little Indo bistro in Ubud set with whimsical interior decorations and a cheery ambience. I lived in Bali for a month so I pretty much came here every week! Went here for dinner and ordered the Soto Ayam and to say it was amazing is an understatement. Great serving and price. The staff were all so friendly and warm. Highly recommended and would definitely be back!

This place was so good. We ate a good big meal for cheap price. And the food was really well cooked. The food is really good for those cheap prices! The interiour is Also really nice, makes the restaurant cozy. And its located in the nicest restaurant-street in ubud. Thankyou!

The lonely planet recommended this restaurant for their rendang and they are so wright! It is a very nice place, friendly and helpfull waitresses. Definately worth visiting!

The food was amazing, the furniture was unique and the service was very good. The price was also much better than other restaurants in the area.

I just had the best Gado gado and i loved the Bernadette herbal Tea. Nice People and a lot to look at toys, special lamps a lot made of tin.

Description
It has always been Bernadette's dream to open a waroeng that serves her childhood favorite dishes growing up in Java, made the way her mother, grandmother and aunties used to make it.

Adrienne has been exporting Indonesian handicrafts to clients all over the world since she moved to Bali in 1992. For the first time her creations have been made available in Bali in the Waroeng.

Adrienne and Bernadette have joined together to create a unique dining experience in a unique setting.
