Cafe Wayan and Bakery Established in 1986 We are happy to have had so many nice guests come to enjoy our food for over 32 years. Cafe Wayan started as a small warung (a local food stall) where Ibu Wayan sold black rice pudding and coffee to the rice farmers on what has now become Monkey Forest Road. Tourist began walking down "the path" to the Monkey Forest and stopped by for a coffee, snacks or to buy peanuts for the monkeys. Ibu Wayans always love to cook as a child and soon the menu began to expand. Return friends to Ubud began helping with recipes of western dishes as long term visitors and residents sometimes miss their own food too. Ibu Wayan began traveling abroad and learned more western

During my trip to Ubud with a bunch of enthousiastic photographers we’ve visited Cafe Wayan several times for either food some cake or a piece of pie and everytime it was defenitely worth it.

The sartay chicken with rice is delicious, try the ginger honey and lemongrass.Great staff. Good coffee and the cakes are very delicious, good variety.

This is a great hidden gem, super easy to walk past but once you enter it’s a oasis of calm after being in monkey forest rd. Beautiful spot, yum food, clean bathrooms, what else could you want?? Oh icy cold bintangs🙃

Beautiful day with my girlfriend from korean,when i visit at cafe wayan to lunch i am very interested,food and the views is very green to relax after lunch,for all my friends come to this place to got more experience your holiday in ubud.

Hi Vextar. We went in the evening and it was stunning. Try to book one of the low serving tables ( no chairs) as this made the experience even better. Enjoy your holiday 👍🏻
