Do.nit.miss the samosa too. As for the deserts it was hot and i had an excellent choice of ice cream: Try the ginger and cinamon it is... More

Go here for a boutique feel away from the mass hotel chains. Definitely recommend it. Enjoyed having lunch here before flying out from Colombo

A nice pretty and quite corner on Paradise Road this restaurant serves up amazing food from its open kitchen. However it is a bit mild in flavour mostly because I think they need to cater to europeans and americans with weak stomachs.

The food was delicious and always fresh and generous. The service is fantastic, always with a smile and wanting to make sure you are very happy. They also provide complimentary filtered drinking water with meals - we wish more places in Sri Lanka did this!!! As well as eating most of our meals at the Villa Cafe during our stay... More

We went for lunch and were fascinated by their menu. Prawn curry with rice and accompaniments in little cones made from banana leaves was top notch and beautifully served. Even the king coconut was so well served in the shape of an animal with cut outs for ears and a tail even!!!!Crab and coconut risotto was unique and very well... More

We dine in at the restaurant at our stay at the villa bentota. The Fish and Chips and the spicy pumpkin soup is the winner of all food. We have tried fish and chips along the coast and in colombo and this is the best in the southern coast. Fresh and fried with perfection. The spicy pumpkin soup is delightful.... More

A short ride from Centara Ceysands by a TukTuk with the driver Suparang leaving us his card to call when we wanted a ride back "home" at any time. We arrived on purpose before the sunset, ask to have a drink at the Lion's Bar with the lawn and coconut trees. We loved the rail tracks that present an obstacle... More

This was our best meal in our 9 days in Sri Lanka and we did eat in a lot of "nice" places! The meals are prepared, presented, and served in a professional manner with style like nowhere else. We were family of six and ordered a wide variety I know I had Tiger prawns and they were very good. Several... More
