Me and my partner were that amazed by the size of the tiger prawns we had to go in and have a sample. The waiter was really helpful and he weighed the prawns I front of us "price is determined by weight" so that they didn't just bring us an expensive bill. We got 4 massive prawns and a Thai... More

My wife and I have walked past this restaurant daily and this evening succumbed to the external spruiker and decided to have dinner at Baan Kalim. Perhaps we were early but our meals were a let down in contrast to the many excellent meals enjoyed over the past month. Waitresses and service excellent, restaurant presentation internally of very good quality... More

A perfect sunset view restaurant. Nice food and great smoothies and milkshakes. Lobbster dinner is delicious but way too expensive in my mind. 2500 baht for 700 g of lobster (one). Would be cheaper in Denmark. But the taste was good as was the taste of the other dishes at our table.

My first meal in Thailand and was definitely not disappointed. The veg pad thai tasted very very good although I was a bit disappointed with their fried noodles. The location of the restaurant is excellent - facing the sea with seating on the deck. Totally loved it. Great place for some good food & drinks by the sea!

We went back to Phuket and stayed in our usual hotel which just happens to be across the road from the Baan Kalim Restaurant & Seafood. On our last two trips we discovered this out of the way place that was a delight to eat at. Seated out adjacent to the sea with the waves breaking on the shore, it... More

This restaurant is just down the hill and across the road from where we were staying at the Nvotel Phuket Resort. The food was great with both Thai and Western food available. We sat outside and were looking out over the beach and surrounding hillsides, a great view, even in the evening with all the lights on. We came back... More

Visited it twice, once with a large group. Why 2X when there's so much choices but It was convenient for us and it did have a fabulous sunset view - to die for?. There is outside and inside sitting. In a group we sat inside as it was night and there wasn't much to see. Food is okay. I can't... More

We had awful experience at Baan Kalim Restaurant yesterday. They served half done fish and pork, not fully cooked. We told them and they said we had to order new dishes. We paid the bill (including 10% service charges) and eft that place without eating. Our children got sick yesterday evening. Unprofessional staff.

We ate looking out over the beach which was beautiful. The Thai food we had was delicious and the service was fantastic. They also had two pet cats wandering around and, as we are cat lovers, we thought this was excellent. It was very busy which shows how good it is. Can't wait to go back next year.
