Hard to find but well worth a visit for a nice meal. Very well presented Thai food and all were very tasty. Good prices and great atmosphere surrounded by trees and a lake, very nice for Phuket. Will return when in Phuket!

Having visited Peang-Prai on many occasions, I have never been disappointed. Always to a very high standard, beautifully presented, always with care and consideration. Its location is stunning in the forest and beside a large pond, the vista is great. You can hear all the sounds of the forest and the call of the gibbons from the nearby sanctuary. A... More

They use local and fresh ingredients, all menus that made of shrimp paste are superb. If you're foreigners, some menus may be too spicy for you but this is the original and delicious taste for Thai people. A must visit restaurant in Phuket!

Beautifully located just outside the Gibbon Rehab centre. Up in the trees. A lot of special special thai dishes. The most delicious food at Phuket. Lots of locals. Cheep! A must go!

This is one of Phuket's best authentic local restaurant. Prices are reasonable (at least when I was there). But to get there, you need transport. It's on the east coast off Highway 4027, next to Bang Pae (or Bang Toey) Waterfalls. On Google Maps, the place is called Piang Prai Restaurant. On Apple Map, the restaurant is spelled as Phiang... Due to the restaurant locate outside the city. We can feel fresh and close to the nature. Good Thai local food. They have all such as Kang Som, Khua Kling, Kang Poo, Moo Hong, all delicious. The staffs are very friendly and good at service.

We have been dining at this restaurant every time we visit Phuket, over 8 years. The only thing that's changed is the size of the rest. The family who started is still hands on serving the customers with a smile. They have unique dishes you must try, one of our favorite is Rhoom, owners speak fluent English just in case... More
