Everytime we decide to have dinner in this beautiful restaurant by the Kordon, we have an amazing time. Big selection of daily fresh fish and mezes(cold appetizers), service very welcoming and attentive, elegant ambiance. The food is delicious and well presented, very nice Turkish wines(I suggest to try Vodina Fumé Blanc). A bit expensive, but worth it. I warmly recommend... More

We ordered the white grouper - which more than adequately served 3 people. The staff were very friendly and the service was top notch.

We booked this restaurant on the strength of TripAdvisor reviews. We're staying closeby so it's very convenient. The food is very good though the service can seem slightly brusk. I took another reviewers advice and had the seafood noodle dish. It's listed under the entrees but was easily enough as a main course. My husband isn't a big fish fan... More

We are on an Aegean Region sojourn and Izmir is our first stop, after flying in from Istanbul only yesterday. While archeology and history are our main themes, it goes without saying food and in this case seafood is very much on our agenda. We asked the SwissHotel Grand Efes for the top name on the waterfront within walking distance... More

They treated us as if they did not want us to come back, and they succeeded. Good location on a strip of restaurants facing the water. It looks like other restaurants nearby. Nice display of seafood, which looked very fresh. English-speaking host seated us and then abandoned us. The waiters ignored us and were rude when they spoke to us.... More

We enjoyed the location (walking distance from the Swissotel and overlooking the water). The fish was fresh and prepared expertly. We enjoyed picking our own fish and spices. We found the prices to be reasonable. The service was very good.

against the strong dolar-euro it will not that expensive for the tourists but as many locals have written here it is expensive for the Turkish people. 1 duble raki 20tl (cidden ayip) all the mezes were fine, deep fried calamari was very good.. if you go this restaurant make sure that you try the fresh noodle(eriste) with seafood, it is... As I said: don't go if you have an alternative. Its Nov 16 now and we had a decent dinner with decent fish quality and we are paying 150€ per couple at the moment.... no lobster no calamari no crabs no mussels....Just plain fish...There are many more better fish restaurants in Izmir...... find another place where you will not feel...
