Amazing ancient noodles recipes mad unique by using the waters of a 1000 year old well and an old family recipe. These noodles are only available in Hoi An. Large place, but gets very busy.

We went here after a recommendation from a local tourist operator. Awesome. 120000vnd each all you can eat. Cheap drinks too and dessert included. Free WiFi. Lovely garden setting or in restaurant or footpath. Plenty of locals and westerners.

THe first place I come to for lunch when I am in Hoi An is Bale Well. The best, the absolute BEST spring rolls are here....and you make them!!!! You get all the ingredients and you add what you want. You even get free lessons on how to do it. The amount of food is prodigious....hard to finish it all.... More

It's very simple. It's a fixed price of a selection of delicious food, about 120k VND each. You get a personal food attendant who is at your table the whole time. She/ he assembles the food for you to eat. It was absolutely fantastic, the foods are all wrapped in rice pancakes together. The beers are also at street prices.... More

Recommendes by our hotel, Lonely Planet and Tripadvisor... This cannot be anything else but awesome, right? After three days of amazing food at good prices in Hoi An I was so excited to try this place. I really don't mind the setting not being cosy or a set menu, but the food just was not good. The ricepaper was really... More

Arrive as a guest leave as a friend. What a fun night. Set menu, who knew, food just kept arriving and it was sooo good. Lots of fun chatting with the staff who enjoy a good laugh with you. Highly recommend.

The food is overpriced and wasn't very delicious...the food tasted fishy and the staff was very pushy and cheesy. They bring you out dessert and one of the owners shoved a bite of the mango dessert in my mouth...I was not okay with that and after receiving the bill (for 260,000 VND!! For spring rolls!!) I was very unsatisfied and... More

As soon as you turn the corner down the the alleyway you know it's going to be good. Outside seating filled with the scent of grilled pork. The hosts are full on and service is like lightening. The food is hot, tradition and tasty. Grab a beer and dive in

The food was very plain and basically without taste. The shrimps in the springrolls were not peeled, so I ended up picking out shell from my mouth. The salad smelled and tasted like dirty water. The only little good thing was the dessert.

For 120k per person, you get a generous spread of grilled pork on sticks, spring rolls and banh xeo (local pancake). Everything is wrapped in dry rice paper together with herbs (the waitress will show you how it's done) and dunked in a yummy sauce. I've had the same food elsewhere and I must say the dipping sauce at Bale... More
