Yamachan is another famous restaurant from games and other texts I've consumed, thus when we had an opportunity to try Nagoya-style wings in Nagoya (after the sumo tournament), it was an absolute no-brainer. The wait was short and out wings came out; 10 a piece for myself and for my fiancé. We both agreed after the first few, that these... More

I like the flavor of their chicken wings. It was savoury and seasoned well ( has that peppery kind of flavor that I like). We also had the cucumber with miso which was also unexpectedly good.

Ate at my first Yamachan in Tokyo. One of the folks i was traveling with suggested we we try it out. If you like chicken wings, there's are really good and relatively simple and clean to eat. Each order is a set of five wings so if you want to split 30 wings, order 6 sets. Add in some Soba... More

This restaurant is famous for their chicken wings but they also have other Japanese food, which is also tasty too. Their chicken wings are little bit smaller compare to the U.S. chicken wings. Their famous chicken wing is the pepper chicken wings.

I went in thinking that the wings were going to be really good, but they turned out to actually not be very good at all. They were dry, had little flavor, and just reminded me of something that I would get out of my freezer. Maybe I've been spoiled by living in the American West? The dotemeshi was pretty good... More

Had an early dinner here at the Sakae branch and wanted to try the tebasaki (fried chix wings). It's 5 tiny pieces for abt 400+yen. It was tasty but cold when it arrived. Have tasted better wing elsewhere though. Also had the kimuchi rice which was jap porridge in kimchi soup. Quite flavorful in winter. Although the I asked for... More

I absolutely loved their spicy wings, but the rest of the food was utterly forgettable, and they messed up our order (never brought our 2 rices, then brought one, but charged us for 2). So, stick to the wings.

Stumbled upon this place which was directly across my hotel (Richmond Hotel), the chicken wings are amazing and so are a lot of other items on their menu. Very decently priced food and drinks, very good staff who are really friendly and helpful and oh there is an english menu, so just ask!
