Yes, it is true that the Associa is a very large resort spa. Even taking that into consideration, however, did not prepare us for the cafeteria style food served at the buffet in Rosiere. Luckily, we decided not to indulge in the "all you can drink" option. We were three and opted for a single beer per person and walked... More

Staying at the Associa Hotel, we had the choice between dining at the Rosiere restaurant or at the Kaun. we tried both. The Kaun is OUTSTANDING on all scores; expensive, but well worth it. The Rosiere however, is just a large cafeteria. My recommendation is don't bother with the Rosiere: focus on the Kaun. You will not be disappointed!

I remember the eating at breakfast which were two cuisines served...Western and Japanese. The Japanese seem to eat more vegetables and fruits while the Westerners eat more scramble eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, etc. It's no wonder that I didn't see...let's see I can them on 2 fingers...fat Japanese compared to the big and fat Americans.

Big variaty of food, with great help from the staff. It is shame that soft drinks not included in dinners price.

When you walk into Rosiere it is a big not so pretty room set up for bus loads of visiting tourists - not so inviting. Ask for their private restaurant in the back, it is superb. There are only 20 seats and they all abut a hot table top where your individual chef cooks the most exquisite Hida Beef (Think... More

Its our first time havingbtheir buffet spread at Rosiere Restaurant. The restaurant setting is european style with silverware. If I have to give a rating, out of 10, I will give a 7. Its an average class restaurant. Their pastries are however, good. Can give it a try. Service is very good here.

Food is okay at best. Each time we ate there it was Buffet only, and you need a reservation yada, yada. Place closes at 8:30PM so you don't have much if a relaxing experience. Staff we seen coughing and sneezing on/near the food. So if you don't mind that, then this is the place for you!!

We were a group of 30 hungry people, all of us had different tastes but one thing we all agreed upon was that the dinner at Rosiere was FANTASTIC ! The portions were small compared to other places but each bite was to die for. If you are in the area - this is a must place to visit.
