Let me say this first it was a very busy Saturday night at the Raindancer Restaurant. The parking lot told us that, being full. We were there for my wife Jan's birthday with our friends Phil and wife Stephanie. We arrived twenty minutes early for our reservation and were surprised that our table was available immediately. They had a specials... More

Went for lunch this time and it was excellent. The food incredible and the service was perfect. So happy we decided to go out for lunch at the Raindancer. In the past I have only been there for dinner ...but lunch was just as good.

This restaurant still draws large crowds. It's salad bar with a lack of change over the years and a renovated bar area with the addition of many micro-brews thru an extension into the former banquet room caught my eye. The menu has gotten pricey but very abundant in selections. We were a large party and we're seated in a very... More

I've never had a meal at Raindancer that I didn't like, but my favorite has to be the early bird Lemon Chicken. With a trip to the salad bar, coffee and dessert included, this bargain beats everyone around. Top that off with a generous portion of chicken cooked to perfection. YUM!! Staff is always accommodating and super friendly. Must try... More

We visited the Raindancer for my wife's birthday and it was as good as ever. We got there a little before 6 and order off the early bird menu. I t is a real value and it comes with the entree, a potato,a trip to the terrific salad bar ,dessert and coffee. There are about 10 entrees and they are... More

Return visit to an old favorite, a bunch of recent changes. Food quality is still very good, but prices seem higher. There's now an amazing beer selection, but it's evident most of the wait staff and bartenders don't know anything about them - gave up after the second misidentified beer, perhaps due to kegs mismatched to the labeled tap. Will... More

Had reservations, arrived early so they seated us right close to the door and in a very bright area. Nothing else available as there were 3 Christmas parties going on. Been years since we were here but we live about 40 minutes away. It was quite loud and very busy which I guess could be a good sign. Service was... More

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Adirondack animal land. The place was not very crowded and we were seated right away. The place was very large inside. We sat in a quiet table just off the bar area but we were not in the bar. They had a decent selection of salads, sandwiches and other lunch items at reasonable... More

Description
In 1980, the Raindancer Restaurant, located at 4582 Route 30, was established by Doreen and Walter Porath. This family-run business has grown considerably during the past 35 years. In an effort to stay current and better serve the community, the restaurant has had numerous additions, renovations and creative concepts that were implemented to keep things fresh. This constant improvement, combined with the old-fashioned notion of ample portions, quality ingredients, top-notch service and the community support we have continued to receive, has kept the Raindancer at the top of everyone's dining list throughout the years.

At the Raindancer, we offer different menus for all occasions. Whether it's a quiet, romantic dinner, casual dining, take-out and party platters or to help you plan a party, the Raindancer is here for you. We have multiple dining rooms available to help make that special occasion something extra special. We offer a banquet menu that can be customized to fit your special occasion. We can accommodate for bereavement luncheons, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, receptions or company business meetings.

We are open year-round with the exceptions of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Memorial Day. For all other holidays, we offer dinner features such as a traditional Thanksgiving dinner or a Mother's Day or Easter dinner for your family.

Our dinner and lite fare (lunch) menus are available throughout the restaurant anytime. Choose from a selection of over 80 items on our menu and our daily feature board (Polish Night is every Tuesday). Plus, we offer an exceptional salad bar with breads baked in-house daily. If you plan to eat at any earlier hour, we offer an early bird menu seven days a week. The Raindancer also offers any of our menu items, party platters and features for take-out (except the early bird menu). Just call ahead and your order will be ready at our pickup window.

And if you're just looking for a quick bite to eat, then join us in our cocktail lounge and enjoy great food, great atmosphere and a wide variety of wines and beer alongside one of our fireplaces. We offer over 80 Wines by the glass and 20 different beers on tap.

The Raindancer Restaurant opens at 11:30 am, Monday through Saturday and at 12:30 p.M. On Sundays. We look forward to seeing you for lunch, dinner or your next special occasion.
