Our hostel recommended this place. So glad we went. If you don't know the place it's easy to miss.. The food is so good.. and the staff is so friendly.. a must do in Nara.

We came here at the recommendation from our hotel and couldn't have been happier. The place is really tiny but we were lucky to get seated by the bar. Please note that smoking is allowed at this place but they do have decent ventilation... We ordered various skewers and the meats were all very tender. One notable item was the... More

Wonderful small local bbq. Seating limited and Japan still smokes...yuck! But the yakatori was great. We had grilled eggplant, mushrooms, peppers wings, steak and amazing bbq rice balls. Simple fun with sake or beer. Nara is a must two day stop!
