We had our first dinner here, and it was awesome! The restaurant was a traditional Okinawan house with a big yard. The interior was decorated with a lot of quaint stuff, I felt like I was in a Japanese historical period drama. The staff couldn't speak good English but very friendly. There was no English menu, so a translation app... More

This is the ideal restaurant where to taste the typical cuisine of Ishigaki Island. We had a menu (shared with my girlfriend) and Two more dishes: beef sushi and another one (typical vegetable of the the island). The service was great too! Strongly recommend to book in advance!

Our meal was amazing!! They have an english menu with photos of all of their dishes so it's easy to see what you're going to get. They have "sets" that range from about 5500-11500, but you can also opt to choose your own dishes that range from 550-3500. We tried "simple noodles", sashimi, seafood tempura, flank steak something?, a tofu/squash... More

Food and service were excellent. Experience heightened by a string player and dancer who got the whole place dancing

Really lovely food and beautiful surroundings. The food was good quality at a reasonable price and the entertainment was fun. Service was attentive and fast. Good food menu with many types of good food. We overstayed our unwritten 2 hours and were quickly told that we were on last orders...this is typical of Japanese restaurants and always strange to me... More

This is an Okinawan style restaurant, many small buildings serving as dining rooms. You can sit at a table with chairs or on tatami mats. Opt for the latter for a genuine experience. We walked in to a dance and song performance by the staff. Very traditional and entertaining. The food here is meant to be shared, so order a... More

I recommend this restaurant but it is not because of the food. The restaurant was a private house before and it is a beautiful place. Taste of the food was good for most dishes but they were not very special. However, we enjoyed very much the shamisen and dance performance during the meal. All guests joined in at the end... More

This restaurant is located around 10min cab ride from the city area. Facing sugar cane field, the place used to be a big private residence, and has beautiful look and feel. There is a water font with colorful flowers at the gate, and makes a beautiful scene at night. Food there is nothing too different compared with the ones in... More

This place is the caricature of a tourist restaurant: expensive, food so-so (we got sick after eating there!), boring musicians and dancers (got downtown to see really good performances). Avoid at all cost.
