Came for the ramen here on my significant other's recommendation (she's an Aomori native), and it delivered. Their famed miso curry milk ramen was subtly spicier than I expected, served up piping hot and richly delicious on a rainy November day. I really enjoyed my lunch. There's a big trophy in the front vestibule as you enter the shop, and... More

Visited here as I wanted to try eating something unique. Miso curry milk ramen Flavor: Surprisingly mild. Not inspiring, but not bad either. Hearty noodles. Location: About 5 minutes walk from Aomori train station. Restaurant: Small and old fashioned. Many locals seem to eat here as I hear Aomori dialect. Price setting: OK Volume: OK.

A nice ramen place which serves Hokkaido style ramen with a very rich broth. The miso curry milk ramen is the signature dish here. We arrived on a cold, snowy December day, so it was just the right food to eat. There is not much English spoken, but the hosts are friendly and helpful. An easy going place.

Got the milk curry butter noodles as it was labeled "#1" on the menu, but overall I think it was lacking in some flavor. No lines when I went and the portion is really large, so that's a definite plus

You'd probably never had a milk, curry and miso ramen combo outside of Japan, and that was my first introduction to the myriad of Ramens here. The atmosphere was communal, looks rundown but who cares if the food is good. The proprietor seems to know most of his clients preference and one word order shout was enough.

Decided to try this place based on great reviews on TA. Stopped by after the Matsuri as it was open until 10pm which was a bonus (there's so much food to try!) There was a short wait but food was promptly delivered and ramen is basically Japanese fast food so ambience wasn't a big deal. I didn't expect much from... More

This is a signature ramen restaurant. The premise is not far from JR Aomori. You may expect a long que but the tatse is unique. A must try for those who love curry ramen.

After struggling to find parking for this place I decided to make my TripAdvisor account and leave some tips for navigating Aomori City, lol. This place doesn't have street parking OR a lot any where near it. We found a lot a few blocks over and walked. We don't speak anything more than very basic Japanese, and we had trouble... More

Delicious miso ramen, 680¥ for a huge bowl. But my ears are being assaulted with a collection of what sounds like "Village" themes from 80s JRPGs, lovingly reproduced in MIDI. Hideous.
