Had dinner with friends and their parents. Too bad crabs and crayfish were sold at at 630pm on a Sunday night. Ordered a XL portion beehoon, otah, sambal crabs, minced meat tofu, sweet and sour pork, sambal kangkong, garlic steamed prawns for the 5 of us. Beehoon was so good that we ordered another additional Medium portion. Even before we... More

our party of 4 adults and 2 toddlers ordered a lot of food for a fraction of what it would cost in Singapore. The signature fried beehoon and assam stingray was exceptional while the other food like salted egg crab and chili crab were just ok. I've had much better seafood at Gelang Patah but came here because it was... More

Possibly the most mentioned restaurant in this city whenever someone talks about seafood. Over the years it has drawn a huge following as can be seen by the big patronage every evening. The fried beehoon here is the must order dish and no one should leave without tasting it. Besides that, a gamut of yummy seafood waits to entice your... More

Read online about their specialty San Lou dry mee hoon but it didn't live up to my expectation. We have had better ones in Johor. Ordered the chili crab and some other dishes. Average taste.

Poor service and it took long time to get the food ordered and be served. The waitress is extremely cold and not friendly. It has been 30 minutes now and I am still waiting for my beer.

It's my third visit to San low for dinner in the last 2 months. Last night, it was no exception. We drove there to walkabout, then turning up @ Sam low around 6pm. It was as always fill house😋. As regulars, we were given a table almost immediately. We kicked start with their beautiful otak, signature bee Hoon , Kway... More

There are many nice dishes here, with their fried meehoon being its signature dish. We were not able to sample everything, but from what we have tasted, they are all good. The price though, is not cheap by Malaysian standards. However, if you are from a first world, it is really cheap. The restaurant has limited parking and is not... More

If you realise all the good reviews/ blogs are from long long time ago. About this place. I would never visit again. Family of 8 pax. The worst experience ever. 1) Food - their famous san lou mee fen. - quality dropped drastically. Not the same anymore! Their portions were the smallest despite ordering (LARGE) for all dishes & EXTRALARGE... More

We had ordered steamed prawn with garlic, signature fried mee hoon (rice sticks) and spicy cockles. Food was good and delicious. However, services are poor. While taking order, the waitress was inpatient and sour face. Probably because business was good and full house. If you are here for the food then is OK and if you are here for the... More

San Low is a very popular restaurant for as long as most people in JB can remember. Always crowded and busy to a point the staff are busy as bees taking orders and serving the customers. The perennial question is with the extended serving times, is it worth the wait. Food is good but not that long serving times can... More
