Went there Aug 21st 2016. No frills restaurant, ambience is missing completely. Chicken lollipop (appetizer) very boring and hot 'n sour soup very nice. For main course we ordered Chicken Tikka masala, keema matar and lamb kebabs. All three items were excellent tasting and good size portions. Though a bit pricey, will come back again.

Do both Indian and Arabic menu - strangely seems pretty much like Mumbai Palace at the other end of town. Not sure if they are same ownership. Ate there a couple of times and found it a very enjoyable experience. Not that expensive, typical Indian service being a hit and miss at times but it all worked out.

Place is opposite to Zone & Under water world , but slightly hidden. To us the presentation of food and quality of food was good. The place is neat & clean. We only tried Indian food which was good

A group of us ate here and we all loved the food! The portions were huge so everyone left very full and satisfied :) The staff were also very friendly and helped with recommendations! Would definitely recommend the Taj Mahal.

We went here with friends (6 people) and had an absolute blast! The service was great, very friendly and the food came out quickly! Food was amazing and the serving size was great! All dishes had lots of meat/vegetables in them. I highly recommend the butter chicken and garlic naans! We payed about 200RM for 6 people. That was about... More

after two days of stay at berjaya, we were surely looking for a nice restaurant with Indian food..and here at cenang beach, we found Taj mahal..really tasty north Indian food with good service..started with papad and chutney, and every dish served thereafter was delicious..really worth visiting, especially for vegetarians..

This place is located in the heart of the Pentai Cenang Market area and right opposite to the duty free store. It serves Indian and Arabian cuisine and also has options for vegetarians as well. The quality and the quantity of the food is good. Yummy food and really enjoyable. Not too oily(esp for the health conscious) Overall Enjoyable
