So much hype of Ipoh's Bean sprout and Chicken rice so was recommended by our driver to this so called famous "Lou Leong. Regretted dining here,the chicken was soo hard rubbery and had this strange taste of chinese medicinal herbs....i couldn't finish my meal at all.Chicken tastes old and the thigh part tasted horrible as well and meat was really tough! My lunch was ruined,will never ever dine here again!

This is a second choice chicken rice shop to Lou Wong as Lou Wong is always packed. Queue was equally long & Lou Leong formed a lethal combination with Yee Thye Biscuit. Chicken was average

I was there on Christmas day. Yes it was crowded and so was other chicken rice shop. The restaurant concept is pay first before serving, just like a fast food restaurant. I have always wanted to visit Ipoh, since I do not much enjoy the other Malaysian towns. Thus, when TigerAir started flights to Ipoh, I was very happy :) I made the first trip with my son. We wanted to go Lou Wong, but too crowded. So come to here 老梁. Still hv a few empty table here. Half chicken RM28, quite princely. Waiting 1 hr long for the food to come. Their menu included chicken, chicken feet , smoke duck which need to wait about 15 mins or more, pork ball is the best, fish ball , beans sprout too :-)

A MUST stop place in Ipoh for the Chicken rice. Visited this restaurant during my last trip to Ipoh. Manage to get 2 tables for 15 people as it was still early.
