We loved Kudos so much that my friends and I ended up eating here 6 times in 3 days -- breakfast three times, lunch once, dinner once, and dessert once. I did not expect to find such excellent European food in a place like Kota Kinabalu. Their Sussex Apple Crumble was the best I have ever had, the pan fried... More

This is a great restaurant, and perfectly located under the Jesselton Hotel and in the centre of the main part of the city. The service was excellent and the range was good, not super extensive but a good variety, it was well cooked and good quality. I had a burger as fancied some western food for once, it was good... Located groundfloor of the old Jesselton hotel. It's menu has a great variety to choose from. Selections from veg - fish -meats- and scrumptious desserts too. Friendly + attentive staff and service. With good meal portions at that. Our table of 3 Had a soup and 1 other starter, was warming and not too filling. The bolognaise wasn't dry✔. Both... More

We presented as a group from Australia through TripaDeal. Whilst it was a set menu choice from a limited range, the output from Kudos was very appealing and well received by the group. It was an end of Tour dinner so a return to western style food was welcomed uniformly. The venue itself is upmarket by KK standards but also... More

The restaurant was recommended by our concierge as the best non asian food in KK. The menu, food and staff were excellent. We had black cod and oxtail and both were superb. Wine was good but expensive as to expected in Malaysia.

As we had been eating Malaysian food earlier in the week for lunch and dinner we decided that whilst we were staying at The Jesselton that we would eat at Kudos and we were not disappointed. The meals were delicious and I have to say the Tiramisu was one of the best I have ever tasted. The wine was served... More

Dined on 9 sept 2016. Called for a last minute same day reservation and arrived 40 min later than the reserved time. Welcomed very warmly by the host ( a charming lady who seems owned the place). Server Tina was well aware of the food and the menu. Extensive wine list. Found the place as a less formal European cusiine... More

We had a delightful dinner here tonight. The risotto and salmon dishes was both excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend it for dinner. There must be a fine chef somewhere in that kitchen.

Just went there with my wife & a friend this morning for breakfast and I can honestly say that breakfast is NOT one of their specialties. Customer service was good, but this "European" resturaunt served us our meals at different times instead of all at once, in fact I was waiting for my turkey & cheese omlette 10 minutes after... Description
Kudos first opened its doors on 24th March 2014 in the main Central Business District of Kota Kinabalu at the iconic Jesselton Hotel where the casual dining restaurant has an airy, modern yet classic feel to it. Within our newly launched a la carte menu we proudly serve a selection of modern British food which incorporates French, Italian, Mediterranean and other European dishes complimented with ever-changing weekly specials. The wine list is cosmopolitan and has a modest selection of wines by the glass from a light Sauvignon Blanc to a robust Cabernet Sauvignon or Shiraz to satisfy the most discerning wine enthusiast. Our European Executive Chef and culinary team are committed to using, where possible, local sourced organic produce, premium meats and sustainable seafood. It is the perfect venue for a relaxing breakfast, a business lunch, a romantic candlelight dinner or a meeting place with family and friends. Reservations are recommended.
