Very surreal experience . I expected small portions but with all the courses there was enough food to get full . Very unique experience that is a must if staying at the Conrad .

I flew to the Maldives specifically to celebrate a milestone birthday at the Ithaa Undersea Restaurant at the Conrad Rangali Island resort. Because the menu had changed since my booking date, the food and beverage manager did everything possible to accommodate my taste. The luncheon was wonderful, albeit expensive, but I was aware of the cost before booking. To be... More
We went to Ithaa for lunch and loved every minute of it! The service was next to none and we couldn't fault it. It's worth a visit purely for the view alone! The marine life is incredible and it's nice to visit somewhere that the fish are free and not stuck in a tank! We spent majority of the time... More
We went for brunch which is cheaper at $75.00 with 1 glass of champagne. It is totally an underwater experience . Fishes are abundant and sometimes sharks passed. A once in a lifetime experience
This undersea restaurant was the first of its kind in the world although there are now others. The experience of the fish being outside and the humans the ones in the tank was quite surreal. A relatively small space with only 7 tables but no sense of claustrophobia. The 7 course degustation menu was phenomenal. Truly world-class food. Very expensive... More
After seeing Ithaa on tons of travel lists, we planned our trip to the Maldives largely because of it. We wanted a smaller island feel instead of the large resort style Conrad, so we opted to stay at nearby Mirihi - which is close enough to boat over to Ithaa for dinner one evening. In July/August apparently most guests would... More
Yes, if you are in Maldives and are staying in Conrad or close vicinity you should go to Ithaa. Why? This restaurant is 5 meters under water and this one is the original, the first under water restaurant in the world which was built in Singapore and transported to Maldives. This restaurant is named top 10 according to some ratings... More
We went for lunch, and later came back for quick tour at night. Both times its magic! Think you get much better photos at lunch - too dark at dinner. Bring your sunglasses!!! Its very bright inside when sun is out! If you usually get sea sick - think twice, wife was not feeling well after lunch from all the... More

If I am going to Maldives for Honeymoon, which island should I stay? Any good hotel recommendation with worth the value price?
If my son has dined at some of the most expensive restaurants in the world and makes a point to dress impeccably, with much better manners than most adults. Is there a way that we can get around the child policy for dinner? I wish for this question to be for the Ithaa staff, but past visitors with the same situation as me can definetely give welcome feedback.
Has anyone had lunch there before? Are the fish out during that time? And how much is for the lunch menu?
