We had higher expectations given guidebook recommendations. The food was OK, not great. Perhaps it is popular because the prices are marginally lower than restaurants on the main drag. The service is very slow, but that's not uncommon. Suggest they serve the guacamole with more than a piece of sliced wonder bread.

We had the menu with the alpaca options. The Alpaca was very tasty, and also the starter soup was worth the price. We found this place as value for money, and would recommend you to try one of the alpaca steaks. The pisco sour was also good.

A group of four of us had the lunch special. The spaghetti was tasteless and the sauce was bland. The filet of beef was tough. The soup was outstanding. The service was extremely slow, and I ordered cream of mushroom soup, and the waiter brought me cream of asparagus soup.

Traditional choices on the menu, un-inflated prices, friendly if slightly harassed staff. A good crowd in the night we went.

But first day when I arrived try to have dinner here ended eat at Lago de Flores -which just opposite this restaurant. I had 2 meals at Lago de Flores and once at ukuku's. Compared these 2. I personally prefer Lago de Flores - their services and food are better. Ukuku's tourist menu 18 to 25 soles.

I had pizza which took a long long time. It was cooked in a wood oven. It was ok. The decor is a old and sad and they need to spruce things up, though they have an impressive collection of cigarette boxes framed on the walls. The lighting is dingy. The service is utterly indifferent. I think they have just... More

We went to this restaurant as a recommendation from our hotel. It was the worst service I have EVER had. We sat down and ordered right away. After us 7 or 8 other tables sat and ordered. Every single one of those tables got their food and finished it before we even got ours. If you aren't a local don't... More

We came here twice and the food is imho great and superb vfm. The pizzas are baked in the oven by the door and other places on the main Lima Street charge nearly twice as much for a poor pizza

We were wandering around Puno in the evening and came across the restuarant and the set menu they had for 25 soles, amazing value which includes a pisco sour or wine, and 3 courses. You get a great selection of meals and all 3 courses were delicious, particularly the grilled chicken with quinoa and the chocolate pancake. Highly recommended!

This restaurant featured recommendations from Lonely Planet, Trip Adviser, etc.in their advertising. Prices looked reasonable. A big wait until the waiter finally arrived to take our order. 10 Minutes later, he told us the trout on the menu we`d already ordered wasn`t available. The Llama fillets we selected as a replacement could have been used to sole your shoes: they... More
