Menu looked like it had plenty to pick from so we stopped here for lunch. Apparently, they cater and serve some sort of a set menu to locals, but foreigners ordering off the menu, it was impossible. Nobody wanted to take our order and it took almost an hour and a half to eat. We came here for lunch and... More

+ Friendly staff + Great ingredients + Excellent price - Caipirinha took 20 mins to come and wasn't good - Wife's tequila sunrise came in 2 mins and wasn't good - Wood fired pizza oven wasn't hot and had to ask for my pizza to be cooked for 5 minutes again each time as cheese barely melted and dough still... The food was very good, the ambiance was nice, we were the only ones eating in the restaurant, and the bartender was awesome in that he took his time to make our Pisco Sours just right. The bar across the street is fun to go to after dinner as well, live bands start at 10pm.

We thought it was a good option since this restaurant is in the 2016 lonely planet guide but it was the worst meal we had in Puno. Greasy and untasty food. If you wanna avoid a bad moment don't go there.

We had lunch here, and while the food was uninspiring at best, the service was the worst I've had at a restaurant in decades. Given a late flight, and the drive to Puno, we came to Ukuku's for a late lunch, but they assured us it was fine. We ordered an appetizer, two pizzas, and drinks all around. Our waters... More

Worst meal in Peru so far. Avoid . Alpaca was greasy and really full of oil. Cow steak was fried when menu said clearly grilled. Deserts were terrible . Wine really sucked. Avoid it

We had higher expectations given guidebook recommendations. The food was OK, not great. Perhaps it is popular because the prices are marginally lower than restaurants on the main drag. The service is very slow, but that's not uncommon. Suggest they serve the guacamole with more than a piece of sliced wonder bread.

We had the menu with the alpaca options. The Alpaca was very tasty, and also the starter soup was worth the price. We found this place as value for money, and would recommend you to try one of the alpaca steaks. The pisco sour was also good.

A group of four of us had the lunch special. The spaghetti was tasteless and the sauce was bland. The filet of beef was tough. The soup was outstanding. The service was extremely slow, and I ordered cream of mushroom soup, and the waiter brought me cream of asparagus soup.
