A Café is bright and lively. The Café always has some fun and beautiful art supplied by a nearby gallery. However, it is not the art that brings me to A Café whenever I am in Cebu, it is the food. While A Café serves both breakfast and lunch, I must say I love the breakfast! The quesadillas are fantastic.... More

We celebrated the birthday of my bf with good friends of ours. We had great food, beers and talks about future plans while overlooking Cebu City. The ambiance was light and breezy and the location was very far from the city so either you have your own transport or rent one.

Indeed, the Abaca Group of Companies offers a new chain that offers excellent variety of food choices. This place makes me feel like I'm home and the staff also made sure that I'm comfortable and pleased. I had my dinner here with a friend from US and Im writing this review because he reminded me to do so. And that... More

Vast pastry and bread assortment which is neat because it's made by the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious! As a breakfast person, I fully approve of the place. What I found unique was the bagel board that came with 3 different types of spreads, which I haven't encountered yet at any breakfast spot I've tried in this country. It was... More

I visited this cafe in the afternoon for some coffee and desert. The coffee was strong, flavorful and satisfying just as I like it! The cream puff was yummy, not too sweet. The cafe sells lots of pastries (croissant looked good) and bread. Note to myself, come here for breakfast next time!

I think as of today A Cafe is already closed. It is replaced by their new cafe with focus on breads. The old A Cafe was a bit expensive but quality of design and "kubyertos" were impeccable. Service was very good.

The Abaca group generally have things figured out in terms of quality. Prices however for what one gets for particular plates can however be way off. I ordered the omelet with veggie options, the spinach was literally two or three leafs, the tomato/mushrooms which were inside the folded omelet were also pathetic in portion. Dollar wise, the low food cost... More
