Great food and really nice piano music by Vladimir!!! We were excited and really enjoyed it. Прекрасная еда и игра на фортепьяно в исполнении Владимира. Очень уютная атмосфера.

No idea why they have such great reviews. Food was so so so average, I don't even remember what we had there aside from all the cured meat (seriously an overkill, why the waiter would suggest so many different dishes of cured meat is beyond...More

The whole concept was to make the place very homey, I believe. And it worked! The place feels like home, and the food is absolutely great. Kind of like old good grandma's cooking. The team working there makes it even better!

Enjoyed our last meal in Moscow at this restaurant and it was a great discovery after the other restaurant our friend recommended didn't accept credit cards. The entrance is a bit hidden, located inside a courtyard within an apt bldg. Inside feel like you're right...More

There are two levels to Kvartira 44 - the upper that is more of a bar, with music, and the lower that is a dining area that appears to be in the apartment of a Russian intellectual of the 1920s. We ate in the lower,...More

This is an old style building with lovely wood paneling. You can eat inside or outside in the quite outside space. The drinks are extensive and cheap the menu has a mix of dishes and staff are friendly. Very reasonable prices and large portions

This is one of my favourite places in Moscow. First of all, it's in one of the nicest streets, but a little hidden so it feels cozy and intimate. In the summer, they have a terrace, but the inside is not to be missed. It's...More

Small restaurant with international and Russian cuisine. We had very good borsch and mushroom crème with quite good burger and carbonara as main course. I would suggest this place as alternative to busy restaurants in the center of Moscow.

Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first
glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long
street populated with well-known shops and brands. But
it’s more than shopping that makes this place
interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running
parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just
behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy

Kvartira (or Apartment) 44 - is a brand rather than a chain - three cafes under the same name. Like members of a big loving family, they are alike but not identical. Among nice pieces of furniture, book shelves, old records etc. one feels at home, like visiting a grandma or favorite aunt. Likewise the atmosphere is friendly and easygoing with live music on some nights. Sometimes however, Friday nights shift into wild dance parties. The simple tasty food is affordable and the wine list - decent.
