The Pushka Inn is a real gem of a place to stay, rarely have I been somewhere and been as pleased with my choice. November in Saint Petersburg is cold and when we arrived the ice lay in mounds on the street and covered the rivers and canals. The hotel though was a warm haven of wonderful reception and perfect... We only took breakfasts here, oh and a few pre-dinner beers. the buffet spread was attractively laid out and the d staff were extremely attentive in keeping it topped up. Waitress service for cooked eggs was prompt and friendly and dishes cleared away speedily. Free scarf promotion with every three beers while we were there. We came away with several,... More

Enjoyed a traditional Russian lunch! Borscht, Olivier Salad, and Pelmeni (meat stuffed dumplings). Delicious! Great place to eat if you are looking for a taste of Russia!

Just a stone's throw from the Winter Palace. The reception staff were excellent. My travel agent made a typo which left me without a bed for a night and the reception staff excelled themselves and found me accommodation within walking distance. I then took up my pre booked accommodation at the Pushka Inn which was excellent.

We chose Pushka as a result of the reviews on TripAdvisor. The location is great as you're with is walking distance to many key sites. The reception area is basic but rooms are good. The staff are all excellent, so helpful. We got the train to Moscow early in the morning & staff arranged for us to have coffee &... More

We ate here every day of our holiday as we knew the food was great and the staff were very attentive. The place itself is very warm and comforable and they have a delicious menu. We had the local cuisine - Chicken Kiev, Beef Stroganoff and Borschch as well as the local beer Nevskoye. All were very reasonably priced. The... More

We dined here on our first night in St Petersburg....right beside our hotel of the same name....the food was enjoyable enough, with good service and we appreciated the 15% discount being residents of the Pushka Inn but in our opinion....there are better restaurants around and better value too, even with the discount.

Not often that we try a place three times when there is so much choice but we had three meals here and all were very good. Pleasantly served freshly prepared traditional Russian (I assume) food on all occasions and not at all expensive. We also tried the Russian wines on offer which were all decent.

Small hotel, with clean rooms. Welcome stuff. Taking into account that hotel is small, only one elevator( those who are traveling with several baggages have to take into account) . Elevator fits only one baggage and one person:)) breakfast is in another building. It is very near. Better to come earlier, so that you'll find free table. One sufficient negative... More

This was a small but relaxed restaurant with very good blini and great service. It seemed to be frequented by English speakers even during the September period. The prices were a little above mid-range.
