Nice food, with a homemade taste. Our children loved the pasta and meat. We had some delicious soup as starters and then beef stroganoff and broccoli penne. Delicious. We recommend their handcrafted cherry beer. And had a special black tea with a really cool "samovar", which is the first one of This kind I've ever seen.

I am an infrequent visitor to this restaurant with my wife and daughter over perhaps 8 years. When I come though every couple of years it still manages to stay the same really relaxing and friendly place. The food is simple and mostly Russian but they do have a menu in English. Tasty dishes with friendly service and the prices... More

We went there after being at Erarta Gallery (just take the tram from there), otherwise we would have missed this part of St. Petersburg which is authentic, nice and away from touristic highlights. The atmosphere is cosy and private, and the owners like to have some foreigners on board. They are helpful. The food is authentic and of very good... More

Small, family-run "restauranette" (that's what the sign outside says) with homely atmosphere. Friendly service. We tried several starters (hot&cold), some Georgian specialty, solyanka (soup) and beef stroganov. All dishes were delicious, served in a timely manner and even reasonably priced. The place is not very central but very close to Vasileostrovskaya Metro station.

Small, 8 tables, quaint pleasant atmosphere. Food was good (stroganoff/ salmon kabob). Cream of broccoli soup wasn't to our taste. 2700 rubles with wine. However, no credit cards! Had to walk to metro station cash machine.

We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor while looking for a quiet place for a dinner at Vasilievsky Ostrov. In Lev we found what we wanted - the restaurant is small (ca. 8 tables) and apparently family - run. They have menu in English and offer a selection of traditional Russian dishes... Overall, it is off the beaten track but once... More

This small local restaurant is located across the Vasileostrovskaja Metro station on Vasileostrovskiy island. Tucked away behind the big MacDo. You can recognise it by the Lion head display (Lev actually means lion). you will probably only end up here if you're staying in one of the hotels in this upcoming neighbourhood. No menu outside or indication they speak English... More
