I brought some out of town guests here since they like authentic cuisine and hole in the wall places. While this place is not a hole, it's authentic, with a good selection of good pies at very reasonable prices. My only complaint with the restaurant concerns the lady at the cashier , she also happens to be the lady who... More

Very nice pies. About 30 choices of pies and lots of other Russian food! Nice staff and nice vibe. Taste is above average and very good for the price.

Quite crowded, but when you get the table the service is rather quick and MOST important the food is amazing! (I tried the soups and sweet and meat pirgogi) And they also have a huge variety of dishes. Another plus: central location

Inexpensive, quick and good. Pleasant counter ordering style restaurant with a variety of soups, salads, and meat pies that are cut to manageable portions. Desserts were tasty. Good choice for a quick and relatively informal meal or snack.

Great for quick lunch. Enjoyed trying different pies, savoury and sweet. Great to taste russian sweets as well, like the soviet cake. Great atmosphere. Try to get a table near the window on the 1st floor to have a viewnon the cathedral!

Great and very popular among locals russian traditional bistrot with wide range of cakes, soups and so on. Very wide choice of dinner sets, starters, main dishes and deserts. Great view on Kazansky cafedral, if you'll be so lucky to grab a table close to window.

This restaurant was adviced to us by our hostel, and we weren't disappointed. The food is typically russian, very cheap (more or less 300R/pers) and even if just one waitress spoke a (very) little bit english, she was nice to us and helped us to order. A place to go for backpackers in Saint-Petersburg.

This is the kind of place many Russian's working in the city will frequent for lunch. The place had a variety of sandwiches, soups and Russian staples like pirogi. I personally recommend trying the fresh cranberry tea, harvested around the city. The salmon sandwich on traditional Russian style bread as also very good. If you arrive right at lunch, except... After a Russian friend showed this place to me and my friends visiting, we returned again the day after. If you are lucky to find a spot (being a group of five or more persons might be a problem in busy times), you can enjoy very good traditional Russian dishes and you will be surprised about the low price. They... More

Being in the historic centre of the city, having very budget prices and amazing lunch/dinner offers which include very tasty traditional Russian food makes this place absolutely irreplaceable and unique in its kind! Add a great view from the windows and that place becomes absolutely perfect! I always suggest my foreign friends to check out the place, to have nutritious... More
