Tis is a pie restaurant. Portions are small or large with an opportunity to mix and match. Our guide said he usually had four portions but two was adequate for me and the lads managed three. It is a fast foof outlet very reasonably priced which attracts plenty of locals as well as tourists.

The service was very correct and the menu was in English too. The price acording to the food was very correct to, not so expensive, is not a luxurious restaurant but I recomend it.

Stolle is a chain of restaurants in St. Petersburg but well worth the stop. They offer meat (or vegetarian pies), wonderful soups, and salads. I had the rabbit & mushroom pie and would definitely have it again! The hot borscht soup was so nice on our cold Russian day. Do give them a try -- you'll enjoy your meal.

This place makes wonderful pies! Prices are very low which makes this a good place for a quick meal. We didn't have particularly high expectations but were pleasantly surprised. The meat pies are so delicious--salmon is the best, rabbit, beef, mushroom are all amazing too. Very classic Russian place frequented by locals. Fast service. Really good normal Russian food!

We bought three kinds of pies and ate them later. All were quite good. The price is very reasonable and the service efficient.

Delightfully nice pies and lovely service. Salmon was recommended to us by the helpful server Maksim.

If your looking for lunch with a wide selection of Russian Pies then Stolle is the place. The rabbit and mushroom pie is divine, nice light pastry with a delicious mixture of rabbit and mushrooms. I had the sautéed vegetables as a side. You

We heard about Stolle from a Paul Hollywood programme on the TV (yes we are that sad), but we certainly weren't sad about going. There is something to be said for tasting a few different sorts of Russian pies after staggering in from a freezing cold street. I had the minced meat pie and my wife had the mushroom pie... More

I had the mushroom filled pastry, it was delicious, the crust was a bit sweet, and flaky. Well made, simple fare, side salads, coffees round out the café style menu. Great traditional lunch steps from the Hermitage
