Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our guide recommended this place and it was inside our hotel. Usually for us in Scotland/England pubs and their food comes up as just average served in a dark and dingy setting [still we Brits love that!] but in Russia of course it's quite different!...This is a smart restaurant in a sophisticated setting [the style and atmosphere is more Mayfair/Knightsbridge than London's East End]. The service was first class and the food five stars. Really enjoyed it.More

Nice Bar to have a drink and snacks with friends. Nothing special, but good selection of beers also very convenient, since we stay in the hotel - belonging together!

It’s seems to be a cross between a London Pub and a hotel restaurant. Food was good, if with small portion sizes, service was polite (with reasonable English) Disappointed with beer range, really there was only ‘Newcastle Brown Ale’ tap and a range of others...including a German lager. Whilst I appreciate we are in Siberia, it is called a ‘London Pub’ Left feeling, that was only very averageMore

We first ate here for convenience, as it was right next door to our hotel. In the end, we ate there every night we were in Irkutsk. Welcoming staff, excellent food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Had lunch here on a day trip around Irkutsk. It’s a very nice, clean, British pub in the middle of Siberia! Who would have guessed? Service was good, food was great and I had a lovely pint of London Stout (no Guinness unfortunately and the...staff didn’t really know how to pour a proper pint...something management should look at). Apparently the bar was shipped from a pub in England, so as authentic as you’re going to get in such a remote part of the world. Definitely worth a visit for lunch.More

Waited over 45 minutes for our order, only to be told they had run out of burgers, we ordered 3, they delivered one after 10 minutes I called the waiter then he told me they had run out, they had also delivered another tables order...by mistake, when we complained they offered me a chicken burger, and when I asked for the bill, they had the cheek to say they would not charge me for the burger I did not have.More

Had a fantastic afternoon with a group of friends watching the third and final test between the British/Irish Lions and New Zealand. Great beer flowing, excellent food with a really wide reaching, varied menu. The service was excellent, so prompt and brought with a smile....The prices were very reasonable. All of us (six in total) ate really well and had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon in the London Pub, a great option if you are in downtown Irkusk. Just ask for the Hotel Angara, the London Pub is accessed through its foyer.More

After a brisk wintry walk about the city center, I was pleasantly surprised to find a fabulous meal in the hotel Angara London Pub. The ambience is truly English with a Russian flare. i was made very welcome by all staff and never felt rushed...nor ignored. The Salmon dinner I had was very well prepared and well presented, and appropriately priced. The same for the coffees and dessert. I recommend anyone who is near the Hotel or central park opposite to dine here. They do not disappoint.More

OK selection of beer. Only Newcastle if you're looking for something British. Good service. Was able to accommodate a group of 16 with little hassle (and we gave them no notice). this is the best choice if, like the Russians themselves, you love meat. the...pizza was super. The size is right for two people with modest appetite and one person with a big appetite.More

As above. We arrived late in the evening from the Trans Siberian and the pub was still serving. Food was ok, although meals were served at differing times. The pizza is well worth the money and rather a lot to eat. Beers are nice and...cheap, a good way to unwind.More

Staying at the Angara hotel where the place is located. This is where the hotel breakfast is served, plus came for lunch once. For a hotel restaurant, not bad at all, and the atmosphere is nice, staff very pleasant. On the other hand, I doubt...that I would go out of my way to have a meal (other than to meet for a few beers) here.More
