The region has a few famous dishes and dongpo pork is one of them. This restaurant serves it in a pyramid shape that I believe is called Jinpai Kourou and it is DELICOUS. It’s stuffed with mushrooms and wrapped in a soft bacon-like pork cut covered in a savory sauce with braised bok-choy like veggies surrounding it. So good. We... More

I was deeply impressed by such delicious and well presented Hangzhou food. Established in 1913, Zhiweiguan is a traditional Chinese restaurant. I ordered some featured food such as Dongpo Meat, Glutinous Rice Lotus and Su Goose. The meat is top yummy even if it looks too small. The Rice Lotus made me cry because it's so soft and sweet. I... Had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant, attention was very nice and the food was really good. Try the Eggplant and peppers dish, the beggars chicken, jingling bells dish (fried thin tofu) , the poached fish and try the Green tea sweet dumpling at the end!!

The photos in the menu were attractive and the presentation was almost the same. Service was attentive but not overly intrusive. An enjoyable experience.

We had a very enjoyable evening here. Good tastes, beautifully prepared and presented. Great ambiance with estuary and lake views.

I just want to say that I like this restaurant! Yes, I like it! Food here is very delicious and prices are not expensive. After finishing a tasteful meal, I can still walk around the restaurant and appreciate the nearby sceneries!

Thinking of going to Zhuang Yuan Guan for breakfast but our uncle staying in Hangzhou recommended this outlet instead as it is one of the oldest noodle and dumpling shops in Hangzhou. It is located directly opposite the New Dongpo Hotel after you have go past Starbuck Xihu branch. The restaurant occupies few floors of the building; different floor offers... More

This is a very crowded restaurant, which is for me always a good sign in China and a better guaranty that the food is fresh. The chicken cooked 3 hr is delicious, I just regret they use a plastic warping instead of the traditional lotus leave, dim sum taste very fresh as appetizers. Overall a very good experience and affordable... More

Me and my family have a vacation in Hangzhou recently. We had a good time having dinner at this restaurant, with our stomach full. When the bill arrived, it was a surprise. It cost less than RMB200 for the three of us. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite restaurants in Hangzhou. I always bring my out-of-town friends here and it hasn't disappointed yet. The main courses and traditional Chinese dishes are great, but the cold dishes (appetizers) are to die for. As for the dim-sums, I actually prefer them at Zhiweiguan, which is cheaper branch ran under the same company.

Thank teaforte
