We stopped by to see if they were open for lunch. Unfortunately, they only do dinner and my sister and I decided to change our train ticket and dine at 6pm. It was worth it. We requested if we can have dinner a bit rushed as the last train out was at 8pm. We had appetizers, two pastas, an entree... More

Our 3rd visit to Picchu . This time in its new premise . Must say we were disappointed . Omakase was extremely slow , 3 hours , portion was tiny but was quite delicious . Refused to serve us water . Every person must order a drink . Is this legal in Japan ?? Miss the old Picchu .

Location - next to Susukino Subway station. Two floors - first floor is kitchen with counter seats. Second floor seats 12-15 Food - menu in Japanese and Italian. Staff doesn't speak much English but was helpful. Hearty home cooked but small portions. Nice way to end evening.

This small restaurant very close to Susukino serves up delicious Italian meals using Japanese ingredients and techniques for an affordable price given the quality. Easily booked in English using the Gurunavi service.

Here's the short version: food was unique but the wait between courses (omakase - 3 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 main, 1 dessert) was a let down. First up, the food: Many hits, some misses. The oyster wrapped in a thin sliced of what we suspected was prosciutto was delicious, as with the grilled baby corn with mozzarella. The toast... More

The chef is very talented and brought out natural flavors of local ingredients even though it is cooked in Italian style. The dishes are original and the food excites my taste buds. I ordered omakase (chefs) menu, and was served delicious, freshly baked bread with olive oil. The dinner course was a great value which includes around 7 dishes and... More

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long while. It was a good thing we chose ‘omakase’ set and left it to the chef to choose what to serve us. Every plate that was served here was good even the stuff that I’m not particularly fond of, like wasabi and duck, was infused in the meal or prepared... More

Picchu has been my go to spot on annual trips to Sapporo after a week of snowboarding in Niseko. On this year's trip we were surprised to find that Picchu had moved, from the old quaint cabin in the alley behind the fish market to a trendy spot a few stores down from Tokyu Hands. A new location with better... More

There were some raved review about this restaurant that it deserve a Michelin star. Well the food is good but it does not have the WOW factor. The service by one waitress and difficulty in even simple English certainly will not qualify for Michelin. We were delighted to dine there but there were aspects we were not happy about. Mercure... Came to Picchu, as recommended by various food bloggers, and PIcchu definitely lived up to expectations, although I had great difficulty in locating the restaurant, I managed to seek the guidance from a nearby Hotel. (a bit dissappointed that the hotel I am staying- APA hotel group, couldnt assist me in making a reservation). Although I couldnt secure a reservation... More
