The Sheraton Hotel were able to organise a last minute booking for us Takotsubo. A family owned restaurant who take pride in the preparation and presentation of their delightful food. We had a set 12 course meal and through another diner were able to interact with the owners which added to this unique experience.

Great restaurant, but unless you are Japanese you really don't know what you are eating. The staff are very friendly but no English.....that didn't matter though. Was a great restaurant but not what non Japanese people are used to. Try for something authentic but don't expect a standard restaurant.

I never had this kind of artisan dish before. When you visit... More

This is a cozy Japanese restaurant in Hiroshima highly rated in Tabelog. There is no English menu so I just randomly picked some dishes. The chef/ owner were so helpful and friendly. Though they don't speak English, they tried very hard to explain to us every dish. And the miso soup there was one of the best I have ever... More

The restaurant is located within an alley near the main shopping belt (Hatchobori) and its a small 12 seater restaurant. Being by myself, I was seated by the counter and ordered the omikase set - the food was classic Hiroshima cuisine (full of seafood and creatively matched with different ingredients). Imagine abalone cooked two styles, baked oyster with miso sauce... More
