Very good food. The sushi was excellent. The cold soba was good. Good selection of French wine and Sake. Champagne by the glass. A very good option.

I went here with my relatives. First of all, restaurant is filled with Japanese style interior. I think it is especially attractive to Foreigners. Moreover, dishes are so delicious. I have no claims!! I have no claims from appetizers to dessert. I am amazed that the taste of carrots made in Kyoto and the rice cooked in the pot.

Having been in Kyoto for a number of days and returning late after a days' outing, we simply were without the energy to venture out of the hotel for dinner, and therefore dined within at the Japanese restaurant, Touzan. Overall, the food was outstanding with special mention of the Miso-glazed Bluefish that was in itself simply extraordinary and worthy of... More

This is Japanese sushi at the highest level . I found the lack of authentic sushi restaurants in Kyoto quite a problem but this restaurant restored my faith in the sushi fine dining - a wonderful pre-drinks bar with geisha and a excellent tasting menu provided an oasis of bliss

we had lunch at the sushi bar. the chef was clearly sick and was sniffling and touching his nose while handling our sushi with bare hands. I think we had snot on every piece of sushi we are. we should have gotten up and left but didn't want to be rude. I told the host at the end of the... More

We sat in a private area and received excellent service and attention. The staff were friendly and very professional. They understood English well. We had a fixed price dinner and were very happy with the many options and the beauty of their presentation.

This restaurant has a nice, modern ambiance with pretty decor and views of the hotel's garden, but the food is only okay, and the prices are very expensive.

A solid traditional Japanese restaurant in the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Lovely food for all ages although there is a western menu for children if required.
