This was a great experience having Japanese craft beer. A bit pricy but that is craft beer for you. I would recommend it for a unique night out!

Our Japan travel book specifically called out Beer Belly by name as a good place to drink craft beers in Osaka. We were excited to try out this beer haven. We took a spot at the bar and after ordering our beers and some snacks...I noticed the GARISH display of a pig's leg, with some flesh carved out. Not really sure, were they serving it? Is it a trophy of sorts? Felt very violent I guess. Unsurprisingly, there wasn't much for us to eat, but we got some pickles and they gave us some eggplants without whatever cheese/meat typically came with it. What else to say? The beer was okay (had the double IPA and heffenweiser) and the pickles were okay, but was not comfortable while doing so. Also, cash only.More

Discovered this place after a deception at dotombori. Had a perfect homebrew in the afternoon and visited again at Night. Especially the second visit the staff was so welcoming and suggested some great other places. Their English is limited but they all tried their very...best to help us. I tried 4 of their beers and they were perfect. I will definitely come back if I'll visit osaka again!More

Lovely little bar serving a great variety of their own craft beers, stouts, IPA's etc and tasty food. The sad thing is I was staying so nearby and only discovered the place on my last evening! Otherwise I'd have been back for sure. Great service,...decent prices and a small but tasty menu. Lovely vibe about the place. A three or four minute walk from Higobashi Subway station along the river road.More

This bar was 200m from our accommodation so it was convenient. But also the food was delicious and the beer was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Definitely recommend for dinner - a small space with a relaxed and warm ambience.

Simply just a great little pub with a great selection of craft beers, Scottish whisky and a good selection of traditional uk pub food. Fish and chips, steak and salad were very very good. Small bar portions rather than big dinners. Very friendly staff with...English spoken. Highly recommend.More

We were staying across the river and this was our “local” for our stay. The staff are very welcoming, helpful, and forgiving of our lack of language. There’s a decent selection of brews on tap, not much change tho, our only reason for not giving...a full 5, yep we are picky. You can taste a little before you buy, always good. On our 2nd visit we ate too. The Parma ham is really fab, as are the olives. Portions aren’t big, the fish and chips was spot on tho. They make it fresh, with a beer batter, of course, and it does run out, so be prepared. This isn’t frozen food land, well maybe the chips. Was handy for us, no complaints.More

Great selection of beers all locally made. Staff were friendly and offered great advice on where to go for dinner in the alleys nearby. Well worth a visit.

Had a great evening here. The beers were amazing and the food was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful even the language barrier. Highly recommend.

Good food. Interesting customers. Off the main road but has good signage and is easy to find. The table layout is a bit illogical.
