It's my go to place for excellent and affordable Indian food. Particularly love their curries that comes with roti/dhosai. Such excellent quality unlike many other places where they serve diluted meh curries to go with it. I love their dhosai and roti, so well made and delicious. Simple delights but so satisfying. Nasi lemak is good too so is their... More

Devi has found her niche: at least the outlet in Bangsar which I would consider her "flagship" is where Karl Marx would have gone for his meals, if only he had not wasted his (and his family's life...) in London. Why? Because this is where class distinctions do not count, nay: do not exist. The rich fellow and the pauper... More

Best no frills roti canai, tosai and lime juice - more than 5 of us could eat for RM25 (AU$8). Love it, we go there each time we return to KL. Recommended!

Its a busy restaurant at most times and has a "way" of functioning that might not please everyone but the food is really good. Cant live without it. Downstairs is more "mamak" upstairs is full on banana leaf.

Fish fry is very very tasty. Chicken and fish curry items are a fusion of South Indian style with a bit of Malaysian taste. Paratha (Roti Canai) is highly recommended. Dosa and other south Indian dishes are just basic. So much colour is used in Tandoori chicken which tastes just ordinary. Prices are affordable.

We ordered Banana leaf, Nasi lemak and the famous Malaysian drink, teh tarik which were all my first time trying any of the food/drink and all were amazing. Highly recommended to try devi's... More

One of the better places for tose and roti canai. Usually quite busy, and therefore u can be assured that the tose and roti served to u are fresh, unlike some other places where u get pre-made roti and tose. They also have nasi lemak.

If you like banana leaf style and enjoy eating rice with your hand (it will be messy) then Devi's is worth a visit. You have to ignore the fact that it's not the cleanest of all restaurants but the food is worth the visit.
