Bangsar Sunday night market… we are glad that our real estate agent took us to this market. The place has a nice atmosphere, lots of fresh vegetables. The fruits selection and prices did not impress us. However, this is a nice place to have a glimpse of local and expats’ life. The second visit has disappointed us - does not... More

it is open every sundays. it starts from the evening till late at night. you will find all the local food stuff. from fruits, vegiee meat and fish and clothes. most of the items sold here are fake. you can try the local food. place can be packed and beware of pickpockets.

Been coming here for a few years whenever on our annual holiday. Have noticed the decline in the quality of food and the amount of vendors. It is a shame that upmarket Bangsar is losing its grass roots. This is not a restaurant but a local Sunday market.

I buy here weekly. Coconut water, passion fruit juice, flowers, fruit and vegetables, fish. Unfortunately they dont sell clams any more! There are other markets around of course, but if you are nearby then I recommend it. Go for a cold beer afterwards and one of the many bars, cafes and restaurants around.

The night market gets better as early as 2pm. Fresh vegetable and fruits, traditional local Malaysian cuisine, fresh flowers and many more! Don't forget to drop by the the famed fried kuay teow, fried carrot cake and last but not least, the yummy laksa.

The ever popular street grocery shopping in this up market Bangsar Baru had been the in-thing for residents and visitors alike. Even expats living around Bangsar has added the profile in the shopper's list. Never failed to impressed you with some mobile stall selling ever green local traditional cuisine!

The only thing that's worth visiting is the evergreen Stadium Popiah, which has been in operation for decades now. Back in those days, the Bangsar Baru Pasar Malam is one of the best pasar malam around, with amazing street foods to boot. Now, it's catered more to expats than locals, & out of place besides the affluent Bangsar Village.

Pasar Malam means Night market is an institution in Malaysia when entire streets are blocked off to sell everything from cooked food to alarm clocks. You will find stacks of cheapest, freshest produce. And brilliant atmosphere don't miss it.There are markets in different parts of the city every night of the week. Anyone you ask should be able to tell... More

I used to like hanging out here. They use to sell a variety of food n beverages at an affordable price. Every Sunday (use to be Saturday), my dinner always consists of the food I bought at this night market. I also use to buy cheap T-shirts n shorts to wear at home or to bed as well as to... More

Prices quoted by fruit vendors especially going by weight is ridiculous and they do not exhibit the price by kilo and the vendor got offended when we queried the price of bananas per kg as he quoted a ridiculous price of Rm 3.60 for a small bunch of 4 pisang berangan.
