Had dinner here after shopping at the Pavilion Mall. Prices were moderate and food was alright, we liked the Mexican Pizza the best, the Quesidilla was not so good. Service was fast but sometimes the servers were busy with the customers who only drank and ordered Shisha...we did have an attentive server which we just called Carlos,he took our orders,repeated... This place looked pretty good from the outside but appearances can be deceptive! Everything was overpriced and whilst the food was OK, it certainly left a lot to be desired. Considering the cost, you expect fresh food but when we asked for Nachos without meat we were told that would not be possible. We then asked if there were any... More

The Restaurant had nothing mexican about it !!!!! I mean seriously Sheesha in Latin america ......think about it. The service was bad as we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes before anyone could attend us. When we complained about it, the waitress told us that we should have clicked the service buzzer (A small remote device which has to... More

I went here today for lunch, It is in convenient location at the Pavilion shopping center but that's the only positive thing. It was not busy and I got a table no problem, the waitress told me there were lunch specials and as I was on a time limit I ordered one which included a soft drink - 15 Ringitt... More

This has to be the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The chicken fajitas looks like it's swimming in a curry-like sauce and taste nothing like Mexican food. As for the chips & salsa, the chips were a bit stale and the salsa was flat! Very expensive and certainly not value for money. The happy hour is a joke, only... More

What a value for money luch. My daughter had a delightful freshly prepared burget which ate with gusto. I thouroughly enjoed the Mexica Canteena vegetable soup which was very gastronomically tasty. A place I would recommend and I am considered a gourmet cook.

One of the worst value for money restaurants I have ever been to. The food was basic at best and very expensive for what you receive. The seating is torn and the menus are in tatters. I guess that sums up the whole experience . . . . .

After our previous good experience in February this year at Carlos, we decided to go and dine here again. Some things change quickly: the menu's were torn, the choice of beer was only Carlsberg although the menu showed some other options (some sailors drank all other beer that afternoon according to the waiter). The food: the February-tortilla was good and... More

We went to this restaurant a couple of years ago, and thought it was ok. However it appears as though it's gone downhill since then. To start, the menus are all shabby and torn, usually I wouldn't care about this but it's a sign of the overall effort they're making. They list a large selection of drinks, but when we... More
