A well established restaurant which has been around for a long time. They serve a wide variety of Shanghainese and Szechuan cuisine. Food is still spicy and good, but a trifle too oily. Still a nice restaurant to go to for a good Chinese meal. Service can however be improved.

Wanna Chinese food. The Cantonese fried noodles recommended. A place to get bun with pork too here. Good place to dine with friends.

Just had dinner at Esquire in Plaza OUG. The vegetables (Hong Kong Nai Bak) was good. But, the spare ribs signature dish was a total disappointment. 4/5 of the dish was only bones, & it's not spare ribs, but large bones for making soup - I am not exaggerating. We had the same spare ribs about 1 month ago &... More

Food a bit pricy, beers very pricy. The food is okay but nothing special. I was at the restaurant at Atria shopping mall and that restaurant is very noisy and the the personal just dumped the food on the table, put a bunch of plates and the table and walked off... For the price a would expect a bit more...

My last visit to Esquire Kitchen in Endah Parade was disappointing, but this trip to the one in OUG Plaza is reasonable delicious. Compared to a decade ago, this chain has lost its lustre... The Yam Ring with kung pao chicken was delicious, a bit pricey, though with good ingredients.

Have to observe vegetarian for a short period. Drop in for lunch at the Subang Parade Esquire Kitchen. Limited choices and the food does not taste good at all.

This restaurant has past its time. It has failed to flow with times and I find they are still operating the way they operated 20 years ago. They tried, but the whole system on which they operated on is just outdated. If you were to compare them to other Chinese restaurants, this restaurant pale by comparison. However, some food are... My family and I live in the UK but drop into KL most years visiting relatives and friends. A 'must do' in our culinary tour is the Esquire Kitchen in the Mid Valley shopping mall. We absolutely love the potsticker dumplings served with a shredded ginger and rice vinegar dipping sauce. Also adore the Szechuan eggplant, lotus root soup, Shanghai... More

Wife and I decided to try this place again (last meal 4 years ago, and it was bad) this trip to Kuala Lumpur. Waiters were now all foreigners who could hardly speak mandarin . The one who took our orders barely could communicate in Cantonese. Kampong chicken meat was so tough it could had been old chook meat. The fried... More
