Please advice your staff to be polite. There is no one at the counter. So I wait but then after I saw 1 staff wiping the table I decided to ask her if anyone can check out my order. Instead of going to the counter she answer me with rude tone and giving me that “not in a mood look”... More

from the smallish outlet in KL Sentral (now known as La Cucur Express), La Cucur now has a full restaurant at nearby Nu Sentral which is located at the lowest ground floor. La is spanish, and cucur is malay for delicacies or savories. So La Cucur means the savoury place where one finds typical malay fare such as laksa kedah,... More

Was in nu Sentral and looking for a place to have some teh tarik and kill time while waiting for an appointment . Decided to drop by la cucur for some traditional Malay kuih and karipap .The tikan pelita is nice ,not too sweet . ,karipap is a bit thick on the skin, edible but cold . The teh tarik is... More

This is a cafe style setting in an upscale shopping mall serving traditional Malay delicacies. As this cafe is fully air-conditioned, you can basically enjoy these delicacies in a very comfortable environment. The taste of the food is familiar, nothing fantastic but expect to pay a little bit more for the environment rendered.

It's good enough for a quick meal of nasi lemak or some basic local fare. Not bad, not great either. Plenty of locals. I guess it's down to attractive pricing.

Nasi Lemak quality has reduced significantly. Before this it was alright but sadly it is no more. The chili is unnecessarily spicy

La Cucur is a revelation. One will never imagine a malay kueh (delicacy) will cost more than rm1 but La Cucur dared to price it as such, and there is always a crowd. Why? because many will reason out that a piece of pastry at Starbucks will set them back a few ringgit, so why stint on malay 'pastry'? which... More

So this place has Soto, noodles, nasi lemak and kue. The noodles are about rm 12. The cafe inside seems hot but it's better than some I have been to. They clear the tables so quick so even though it seems to rush, things are still ok and it's possible to find a table. Relatively happy especially since breakfast in... More

La Cucur@KL Sentral - this place is too small for me. I had lunch here with a friend while waiting for a train. I much prefer the outlet in Suria KLCC.
