this place is the quintessential hole in the wall meat eatery, serving lamb chops, meatballs, and skewered lamb with no marination and cooked just right. very tasty and quick, too, all at reasonable prices. 8/10

At a very first glimpse restaurant does not look very nice, however it is a traditional local gurme. Service is fast and clean; grilled meats are delicious especially meatballs. I was not as lucky as having chance to taste kuru fasulye and Ankara tava which are the most famous dishes but grilled meatballs were fabulous. Prices are very moderate when... More

Small, easily overlooked restaurant quite near the Kale (citadel). Delicious food especially the kofte (grilled meatballs). Had a white bean soup that was fantastic. The decor is pictures of local and national celebrities posing with the owner including the current prime minister. Very clean restaurant -- while I was there for an early lunch, the owner's children were polishing the... More

This a nice place in a great location, very, very Turkish in its simplicity, very fresh food, small but tasty menu. Friendly service. Good place to stop by at lunchtime. Excellent shish kebap with good meat. A pity they don't do coffee.

This small restaurant close to the Ankara Citadel entry is hard to notice but if you are lucky enough to eat there you will return there for sure. Besides the French bean and rice, they serve great grill specialties such as meatballs, sish kebab and ribs. Each of them is very delicious. What's more, prices are really low for what... More

Location and decor is not so wow, but the food is amazing. They serve grilled meat chops and meat balls, the Turkish president eats there!

In the middle of an authentic place(old sheep market) eğerse you can find spice and old hancraft shops. The restaurant offers different Turkish meals such as kebabs and meatballs. It is a small place near Ankara castle but very interesting. I recommend you if you like authentic shops and places.
