This is a place where we regularly go, whenever being in Bodrum, even after change of ownership. Change of ownership has fortunately not caused any quality problems, neither in menu composition nor in pricing. Therefore, it is still value for money. Nevertheless, I should mention about an incident which annoyed us; weather was cold and the lounge was not comfortably... More

Altough the long-time owner, Komodor (commodore) Ahmet and his partner have handed over the family run restaurant to a Istanbul based company last season, this place is still one of the best local meze and fish restaurant in town. It is not by the sea or has a great sea view. People used to go there for great food, its... More

As regular visitors to Bodrum over many years, Komodor had always been our favourite restaurant, so when we heard that new owners had taken over we were a little worried. Our worries were unnecessary as once again our party sampled the best of Turkish mezes and seafood in this beautiful restaurant tucked away in the heart of Bodrum.centre. I hesitate... More

This place is very close to where we were staying. Went with our Turkish / British hosts. No menus, things are cooked fresh so if you can see it, it's fresh and available. Full of locals which is always a good sign.

We went there following a friends recommendation. One of the group members told that he is not sure about the quality as, he recently heard that, there was a owner change. The selection was very limited (Ramadan and Monday) and we were asked again and again to select some of the simple meze's that we do not want to have.... More

Komodor has a different story for me, i know their old spot where they had 6 tables outside back in 2010 and since that time i go there everytime i have. The prices went up but the problem is you can't find a better taste for the price still you pay! Quality doesn't come cheap. They are closed on Sundays... More

I cannot recommend a better fish restaurant in Bodrum town to taste delicious grilled fishes. Mezes are also very rich and delicious. Only the location is not remarkable.

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. It is not cheap but the food is totally worth it. Best squid, authentic Turkish appetisers and a great selection of exquisite fish to choose from and cooked to perfection. The service is excellent and they have english speaking staff to help you choose you meals. This place is crowded every day of the week (not... More

As a local I find this restaurant superb for the local food you have a great choice for starters and a great variety of fresh fish may be a little pricey but worth every penny It's mainly locals that you will find there But worth hunting it out and I'm sure a booking is needed in the summer months

There are too many eateries in Bodrum but to find one that serves truly fresh seafood is rare. We found Komodor was modest in prices that they are not overcharging you - average price mezzes, seafood with drinks approx. $40. Serving is not as fast as you think but allows you to chat and socialize with your friends. Parking is... More
