1) The Pork Fried Rice was gummy and dry and there was nothing but rice and probably some sort of pork juice. The worst I've ever had. 2) The Kung Pao Chicken was okay but I've had far better here in Albany. 3) Even the Fortune Cookie had a weird taste to it. 4) The one thing that was good... More

We arrived for a late lunch 2pm. Just a few customers, service was good. All the food was cooked to order, sauces were distinct and delicious. We had both the "hot and sour soup" and flower drop, both with excellent flavor. We had Kung Pao Chicken, which they said would be spicy hot, it wasn't really just spicy mild, so... More

We ordered a large delivery to my work for lunches. They arrived quickly and the food was very good. The lunch specials are a great price. I had steamed rice, sweet sour chicken, and an egg roll. All were very good. I also go egg flour soup with my order, but forgot to eat it. All that was only 7.00

Food fresh, vegetables crispy, offers meats chicken etc. without breading. Sauces flavorful. Easy to find, across from Starbucks.

This place is in a very nice location and is very clean. Most of the items that we desired couldn't be ordered due to the restaurant was out of product. It took quite a while to get served after we placed our orders. When we got our food it was cold. When we asked if they could re heat it... More

Admittedly, I grew up on the San Francisco peninsula, where great Chinese food abounded, but....this was our second try at K1, and it was not good. My favorite dish, shrimp in lobster sauce, was actually a tasteless, gelatinous soup. The fried rice had huge chunks of meat and chicken and also had not much taste. The waiter first brought us... I love this restaurant specifically because I can place my order online and they will call when it is ready or even deliver if you live in a 4 mile radius. The Honey Glazed Shrimp is fabulous if you are looking for something new to try but the usual Chinese (general's chicken, spicy beef, orange chicken etc) is just as... More

We have eaten at K1 twice now and we were very satisfied both times. The title to this review says it all. You can order with or without MSG and spicy or mild. I don't think you will be disappointed

We have never been disappointed at this little Chinese restaurant tucked away in North Albany Village across the river from downtown Albany. The service is always friendly, fast and efficient. Our food has always arrived at the table hot and tasty. We especially like the orange chicken and the house chow mien. The prices are right too. The two of... More

We have found the food to be good although the portions can sometimes be on the small side. Their hot and sour soup is good and we like their stir fried green beans. The people are nice and the service has been good.
